Data is a lot faster as well. Khan would not be able to crush data’s head with his hands due to data’s skull being the same str as a star ships bulk heads. And last but not least. 2:23 it could've been an outtake. because it's weird. like everyone is running up to brent spiner and after brent gets swiped and yells in pain (or acting in pain) everyone stops like oh is he really hurt or should we go on with the scene.

2:08: Do you think Data could have successfully gotten out of there if he hadn't been hindered by the organic flesh? He's fast and strong obviously, but he was severely outnumbered here.

SirCraigius He would’ve escaped easily he’s faster smarter and nothing will hurt him did did you see how he took out those first couple Borg

Yes, but he's not invulnerable. And the Borg are pretty strong as well. Plus the Queen put up that forcefield. He'd have to find a way to disable that and then get out of the Engineering section, while being attacked from all sides by dozens of drones.

SirCraigius Data’s biggest mistake was trying to shield himself with the arm that had the organic skin on it, but he wouldn’t know, as I don’t think he ever experienced the sensation of pain before, and he probably wasn’t used to the skin yet, so he must’ve thought it wouldn’t do anything to him, but in the end, he got hurt, and he probably was in a good amount of pain.

No. They’d swarm him. By the time he was slashed he was already surrounded. It’s unlikely he would have gotten much further even without the force field. Remember the Borg already captured him once already.

@Lucille_McCartney73 Well, Data did learn in the previous movie that there were downsides to having emotions so he must have known that the same would apply to having an organic body too.

It seems that Picard didn't know Data's poker tells since he never played cards with them during the TNG series. It would have been really cool if they could have communicated this from an episode of that series. I would have been really cool.

Watch this scene again and his abduction. All the camera angle show his perspective while being transported and becoming a prisoner. Listen to him tell the Borg Queen his weakness of becoming more human. She takes advantage of this and gives him the human flesh. He then convinces her that he's now subject to her every whim.
