You're sure spoiling us with all these Mage Knight and Star Trek Frontiers playthroughs! I do have to say I slightly prefer Mage Knight, even if only for thematic reasons. Running around boarding random stations/keeps and decimating planets/monasteries makes sense when you are playing as a magical mercenary but not so much as a Federation starship captain. Admittedly this time you were a Klingon so it was slightly better, but the disconnect still gets to me. But this was still a fun playthrough! I said it last time too but your editing on these is really great! Don't think I've ever seen anyone get their rep so low they hit the X before lol.

I agree completely with your comments. I prefer mage knight for the same reason but I do enjoy the away mission mechanic here. Thanks so much for watching and yes my reputation stunk! Haha!!

Good playthrough. Wish I could find a copy of this. Little point that bugged me...Pequod = "PEE-kwaad" You know, like Captain Ahab's ship in Moby Dick? It's a nice homage to the nature of Khan AND the line in First Contact where Picard's obsession with the Borg was compared to Captain Ahab "hunting his white whale."

In the battle against Khan you drew Dominion starbase tokens, but Khan uses Dominion starship tokens.

The one thing I don’t get in the design of this game is that the red data symbol on the die is the Command division symbol from TOS, which was on the gold shirts, and the gold symbol is the Ops symbol from the red shirts. It makes zero difference in the game, but as a Trek nerd, it just gnaws at me.😆. I love this game so much, though! Second best Trek board game. Fleet Captains is my favorite, but the fact that I can play this solo is HUGE!!

I know this video is old but Kahn’s Pequod is protected by Dominion starships not Dominion starbases - big difference!

Level 5: 1 Borg Sphere, 2 Dominion starships, 2 Romulan Warbirds. Also thematic since ships move with Pequod and starbases don’t. Easy miss!!
