I always thought the trailer should start with lines describing Khan, but perhaps keeping the name drops to a minimum until Carol's line. "Who IS Khan?" Intersperse with shots of him unmasking. Once his face is shown, set up Kirk and reveal. Only then do casual film-goers know it's a Star Trek movie.

It is very well made but no ones one gonna beat the original that captured the raw emotion of the charater, telled you about what the film is and suspense.
