It has been awhile since I was able to get on and view what we did. The finished product is much more different than reading the script. We all did a great job on this and it really was a worthwhile expereince. Thanks Rob and everyone.

I've watched this film multiple times, but don't know if I've ever commented. So, taking the time to say that I do love how Odyssey showed her battle scars, that she wasn't all prettied up again like Voyager was every single episode -- not knocking on the series, just saying I like the realism of Odyssey not having the ability to put into port for months at a time, like Voyager, yet the latter always looked so pristine. Anyhoo, given that the Archeins had transporter technology, I've long had it in my head that not only did General Morrigu get to the shuttle in time to escape, but that he also managed to beam Vauhan out before the wormhole complex blew up. What a surprise the Helena crew would have gotten to find him still alive when they got to Andromeda for their diplomatic mission. Well done, Hidden Frontier Universe. In a few months, I'm sure I'll watch everything all over again. I've done it at least once a year since discovering the HFU back in 2016.

I've watched all the Odyssey and Helena episodes. I grew up with TOS, loved TNG. Totally enjoyed the later series and then had to do with reruns. People like you save us from that dismal fait, allowing us to enjoy Star Trek as Gene envisioned it, in all new stories. Who cares if the special effects aren't up to snuff, it's the story and the spirit of it all that matters. Well done! Hope to see more from you gals and guys in the future. Live long and prosper.

Enough kissy-face to make Capt Kirk blush and the sets-to-SPFX interface was positively British (or even Italian), but a refreshing absence of major canon violations, lots of nice touches, good character interaction and a fearlessness that would make the Great Bird of the Galaxy proud. Altogether a worthy addition to the Star Trek universe!

Oh, Hidden Frontier! I'm still clapping til my hands hurt. What an excellent, moving, amazing movie. I was so happy that Sub-Commander Talura requested to stay with the people she grew to love. And for Odysseus to come home. For the crew of Helena to blaze to the rescue. For the redemption of the Archein people. For Cory & Ro back to each other's arms. I wish to thank you for seeing Star Trek's wish that everyone in our universe can get along. To boldly go where no one has gone before..........

Thanks for posting this! I am constantly amazed at the impact Star Trek has had on people and the amazing talent out there that uses the Star Trek ideal to display their wonderful creativity. "Fan Films" are not only a wonderful homage to the Star Trek ideal, they are an outlet for fans to take the story and go with it in their own direction, adding to the canon. It is heartening to see so much talent and hard work because it means, there are plenty of talented people around. I think Gene Roddenberry would be very happy with this and other fan films because it would show him how much his message has touched others. This film is a very fine example of that love and devotion to Star Trek. I'm impressed and thank you and the folks who made this film.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. Let me offer you all some science FACT. Google Mexican Physicist Miguel Alcubierre. I think you'll find it a good read. I understand about 2% of the man's math, but what I DO understand blows me away. I also suspect that more than one government HAS a rudimentary Warp Drive NOW! We are being kept in the dark.
@OllamhDrab6 жыл бұрын
You don't understand enough. It'd take exotic matter to 'make a stable warp field' and somehow controlling enough energy to flatten the inner solar system. It's theoretically possible of course, but unless someone's been hiding a Dyson swarm from us and all it takes to build one for a century or two, we do not *remotely* have the power for an Alcubierre drive, never mind the survivability. Or for that matter would there somehow be enough continuity of anything, or motive to, to have hidden it and all it takes throughout recent history.

I enjoyed seeing the series come full circle, excellent way to conclude to story arc. Just as a caveat, I was a part of the production for several years. We all were volunteers with a love for Trek and wanted to see it continue. I worked mostly in props and background, but did perform "Gul Malek" for several late episodes, as well as the audio series. I had fun, some laughs, good times. So quit "dissing" the product, And If you can do better... Go do it! I would love to see fan films get better.

No disrespect to Bobby Rice, but Brandon McConnell was definitely the better choice for the part of Ro Nevin. This was brilliant. Full of action, I loved how you juggled all of the storylines and brought them together perfectly. There was great characterization, which couldn't have been easy with such a huge cast and the acting talent was varied, but the gems shined from start to finish. Double props to Adam Browne, Julia Morizaw, John Whiting, and Heather Ashleigh for playing different characters. Also, great job to the cast and crew for making a memorable experience. Not bad for low budget. Don't want to be mean, but at the end, the USS Avenger, the Galaxy-X Dreadnought, had a command crew that were all fat. Really fat. Doesn't make much sense, that a top of the line ship, would be commanded by a crew that couldn't fit in the turbolift. I liked the Hobus system reference, where the Odyssey came out of the wormhole, and that there was a Romulan Mining ship there (The Narada and the system that Spock set off the Red Matter in Star Trek 2009... nice touch).
