This is a godsend, thank you. I don't know why there is no info on deflector and engine visuals out there. Especially now we have visual slots I thought there would be in depth videos on equipment visuals... but no. Shields, Vanities and the borg space set are the only things you can find apparently.

well the borg console was an oldie that almost everyone knows, but i didnt know about the Sol Impulsedrive, as i never used this one and barely saw people with its effect and as most stuff that you get from story has only shields that display something... even i could learn something new after all these years.^^

Love that Fluidic Counter Assault set, Working on 1st piece now at tier II for the rep so far almost unlocking tier 3. Best Visuals video I've seen yet, crisp clear and no annoying techno music ;) Great job!

I have most of mine, just missing the console, ground shield and phaser rifle. It's a good set, but the impulse engine trail looks wonky in sector space. It separates into little green balls instead of staying as a cohesive trail.

Heads up btw. The Disco Rep; only the shields have a visual. The deflector and engines do not change anything. The disco shield looks like it has the spore jelly look, the alternate vanity looks like a reddish jelly.

For the life of me, I don't understand why Cryptic had to create a new tab in the user window to change cosmetics. They already had a shipyard officer for that and they could've included visuals in your loadout.

You should have used another ship - for example, Galaxy class - to see different visuals of deflector dish.

Ok so this may sound dumb but I'm new to star trek online. I would absolutely love to have the green neon green nacelles and even the impulse engines green. Ik you listed the names of the kit but how do I obtain them? The delta alliance or the fluidic space? Are these missions I have to complete ? Btw that enterprise E sovereign class is my fav ship. I may have purchase the younger rank ship and customized it with sovereign parts so it looks exactly like it just bit smaller I think. Beautiful ship

Hi thanks for watching, both of those sets are via the reputation system which can be found on the 5th tab on your character status window, they only become available once you reach level 50 and are a bit of a grind as you'll need to do daily 20hr projects to gain xp and then get to tier 5 for the space set. You will need to do TFO's etc to build up marks to spend but a more detailed description can be found here sto.fandom.com/wiki/Reputation_System hope this helps.

@@Marozi1 thanks for the info. I just tonight reached lvl 40 rear admiral and got the reman shield array which gives it a beautiful electric teal color. Guess 10 more levels to go to bed able to unlock Borg tech. Just want some Borg and that counter command and I'll be happy guy. After building replica of enterprise E from start up till now I finally unlocked the sovereign class. Everything is coming together nicely. I am on PS4 though so ik it's bit different from PC

The music is from the game, not sure what its called but it was the sector space music during the Iconian War and still heard at New Romulus I believe.

I haven’t done anything apart from using max settings on pc, I did check today after reading your comment and I could see reflections in game but they didn’t show up as good as the video, I think the demorecord function in STO that I used for the video seems to give a higher quality render than in game, at least for the ships, I could be wrong but it feels like it.

The warp effects seem a bit off as I’ve had green engines that leave a blue trail and blue engines that leave red trails etc, it’s a bit strange.

Shields, impulse engines and deflectors can all be selected in the visual slot without having to equip them, so you can use the loadout of your choice with the visuals of something else.

The text onscreen with each set gives the following information (yellow text is what you are looking for) - *Blue* - Name of the set *Yellow* - Where to obtain them (name of mission if its a reward or name of specific reputation system faction if its crafted) *White* - Names of each individual part (Shield / Impulse Engine / Deflector) I hope that helps, thanks for watching
