Up untill the last Temporal mission, i though that Daniels would actually become the Envoy, due to the wounds he received and how ugly the bad guy was.

wish they'd bring back the delta recruit & time recruit stuff as it was both fun & helpful to players, also wish they'd go back to some of the space sets that don't have warp or sing cores & give them like the sol def set, quantum set, jem hadar set, omega rep sets, rom rep sets, & nukara set. I also wonder if/when we'll be getting stuff based on discovery added to the game thou I'd also like them to reload some of the old missions they took away while the're at it

I keep reading comments about timelines and plot holes relating to official canon sources. The sphere builders said that there are infinite universes for them to experiment with. STO could be one of those universes that is close to TOS but actually has nothing to do with it meaning that the plot holes aren't plot holes at all but rather minor differences between the STO timeline/universe and others.

There are at least 3 Mirror Universes that the Federation has deemed off-limits - one in which Spock becomes President of the Terran Republic, another where the Terran Empire continues into the 24th century, and another where the Empire collapses and eventually gives rise to the Terran Rebellion.

Given how the Kelvin Timeline diverged, and Starfleet likely used Borg-inspired technology taken from scans of the Narada, the Kelvin Timeline's 23rd Century and Prime 25th Century don't have all that much of a tech gap, which would explain why the Yorktown was tankier than an Akira-Class and why the captain didn't question the 25th Century technology. Also, 0712 is likely an android, which the Prime Timeline didn't get until the 24th Century.

I want to say something clever about them not worrying about altering an alternate timeline when that alternate timeline apparently came about due to an alteration in the timeline, though if time travel worked that way they'd never have to worry about altering the timeline, but I can't think of anything. So I'll just point that fact out.

Good video and a piece of trivia that android officer you team up with was on the Enterprise in Star Trek Into Darkness film he even states this if you have a prolonged conversation with him, and I know who the envoy is and well I don't want to spoil it for others yet unless they want to know if they don't play the game but still interested in the lore.

Am I the only person who actually likes the kelvin timeline? I mean the ships and uniforms are just amazing. And I have to say I absolutely love the fact that the kelvin timeline enterprise is as big as a sovereign class! Makes you wonder what a kelvin timeline sovereign would look like.

No you're not. I enjoy the Kelvin Timeline quite a bit, albeit while realizing it's the "action movie" Trek-verse. In STO specifically, my entire character is built around the Kelvin timeline (uniforms, weapons, ship weapons, etc... even finally got a Vengeance class, but only because the prices for Kelvin Connies on the exchange are STILL ridonk. I previously just ran an NX-refit with kelvin phasers).

I hate this mission. It's one thing to "monitor time" but to jump between universes at will seems like like too much a glaring oversight. Just as much as there is a temporal corps helping to keep reality on the right path, there should be an equally able group working in the opposite.

I've been playing STO onl Ps4 and I find it fun, I usually play as the Romulans. My main complaint for the Ps4 is the graphics look like early Ps2 graphics, but I believe they do it for better game stability.

Except his whole job is based on the fact that going back in time does not create alternate timelines like how the Kelvin Timeline was supposedly created.

The Mirror Universe was not created by time travel, its an alternate universe. According to how time travel generally works in Star Trek, once the Narada and Jellyfish appeared in the past and the Kelvin was destroyed the timeline would be altered and TOS, TNG, DS9 and Voyager would all be wiped out. Obviously that's not supposed to happen. The only way this makes sense if the Kelvin timeline was always an alternate timeline and no time travel happened, but we are told that it is time travel.

I honestly really love star trek online. I just wish there was more that could be done to make it feel more star trek, cus sometime's it's just lacking, especially with the time travel stuff and nobody questioning it.

The title says Star Wars Online... looks like I finished this mission just in time :) the sphere battle was super annoying! Why oh why must my ship take so much damage in such a small amount of time!!

Lore Reloaded my ship was destroyed twice. At the beginning and just after I destroyed the last ship... after the battle was over.... what made things worse was I had no idea how to train my officers :/

I never understood this. The Kelvin timeline takes place after the xindi insident. captiaN Kirk even mention the xindi. In one of the movies. Which one I do not remember I think it was beyond

I can't be sure of this, but I think Agents of Yesterday was released the same day or the day before Beyond was released in theaters. I doubt Perfect World and JJ were collaborating with one another so unfortunately that plot hole came to be That being said, it is not uncommon for dimensions to cross. After all, isn't the whole Terrain Empire nothing but an alternate dimension too as in STO, they deal with them, especially in Agents of Yesterday? So who is to say that the Sphere Builders can't also have that technology to not only cross over into other dimensions in some manner, but time too?

I think that these sphere builders are specifically from “our timeline” that are experimenting on other realities to varying success except in Terran Empire (an ally) and Kelvin (who are kicking the Sphere Builder’s ass).

I have 2000 hours on this game, u used to be able to grind a bit and achieve everything in a decent amount of time, Romulan Borg lobi box destroyer used to cost around 20 million credits, it was over 200 million before i stopped playing. All they do is add new grind, they had a specific power and play style that was op over the rest. You had to have anti proton weapons with crit chance maxed out as much as possible. no other weapon types etc... everything is just added grind, i found myself grinding for event ships i never cared about. Game stopped being fun to me so i stopped playing. It's my first MMO so maybe it's just how MMO's are but ya. Star citizen $200 right now will get you a solid ship, no gamble boxes. But that's me just do what you find fun, not for grind not for the endless task of getting that new gear.
