Thanks for this. These mmo's that have all these 10000 options for upgrades, etc - you have to make 1000% sure you understand all that is involved. You can screw this up so easily and be out real money & time. I have been burned several times in these type of mmo's even though I read everything.

Dose NOT work on all ships, only ships marked as Tier 5-U and Tier 6. eg a normal warbird scimitar (Not the legendary one )is not marked with 5-U or 6 so can not be upgraded.

You are picking up electrical humming over your line. You have a power cable too close to your mic, or you need to upgrade your motherboard with better sound card isolation. Avoid using the Front Panel plugs as those are not good for recording.

On the token it says 'ship class'. So if i used a token to upgrade a dreadnought carrier, would it apply to other ships in the same class ie: dreadnought carriers? Or is it just a blunder by the developers?

Upgrade tokens only apply to the ship you use it on.

@@TeacherKirby I just had to ask because the token said ship class, so I wouldn't waste the token. The way the developers phrased it made it a bit unclear, IMO. Thanks for clearing up the misunderstanding,

Thank you for the breakdown! I noticed on the C-Store that the image for the tokens (on the right side of the screen above the information) have 4 different ships in the graphic. Are these ship designs able to be cosmetically applied to your ship? Oh and definitely subbed. Noob here so I've got some videos to watch! Cheers!!

Here's a question I have an epic token, so do I use that and convert it to two ur tokens and get four of these, because I have the epic ships I'm interested in already from the Phoenix boxes or do I wait ... And see if possibly get the ur tokens from the free boxes... Also are they're any t6 Phoenix ships that I've overlooked for the trait or consoles... And thanks for all you do, you are wonderful...

If you have all the ships you need from the phoenix box AND you do the events religiously, then I would trade in the epic token.

Great video. My question is, how does one obtain the experimental trait? I'm on PS4 and I now have the trait slot but nothing seems to go there and I can't find any answers anywhere.

You would apply a ship trait there, same as you would fill one of your normal ship trait slots.

@@TeacherKirby Thank you! That is what I suspected. Unfortunately, on PS4 at least, the slot is broken and won't allow me to put anything there. It's been broken since I applied it.

Yes, It will work on any T5-U or T6 ship

@@TeacherKirby Can you T-5 to T-5u the T- X, we filed a ticket because we went to yard after buying the token for experimental and saw our new temporal ranger pioneer wasent eligible so we swapped to our Excelsior retrofit and realized we need the upgrade token so we had that in inventory selected ship and it showed our token but did nothing after hitting complete. we had another toon use the token on a t-5 battle cruiser w the experimental quantum device andi t worked fine.

How many times can you do an upgrade? Can I buy one token, apply it make the upgrade, and then when I have more money buy 2 more tokens and make more upgrades?

You can get as many upgrades as you want, but each ship can only be upgraded once.
