I am 61 man , and a real Trekkie from the start in sixties, from all the tv-series, movies , is this the most beautiful performance of what Star Trek has to be, good actors, the colored lights camerashooting from different angles, the way the actors talk and presentation, not direct to the camera, but as a interview, that was very convinced and wow, what a beautiful names Captain Sonya Alexander sounded so powerful and the Klingon was also well chosen, the way he was filmed.Every character was well done. …. Ans now ?, … do you presented it as Axanar in 2025?, I want to see it, I am a grandpas now and I will tell them before I die! P.s I am from The Netherlands Europe.

It seems like a cynical con, to take money but never produce, there are some new star trek mini movies that even use for example, the USS Prometheus and the Tholians, it's all TV quality production, equally an eastern European production , set on a fleet of Noway class ships, fantastic sets, acting etc. All using potential Trek trademarks, yet they are allowed , and are excellent. It's sad the lost one cast member, but they could easily work into the storyline , how he's not in anymore, or better still like starwars, use deepfake , to keep hatch's charecter in , long enough for them to ' write him out ', the time they waste filming endless weekly so called updates , they'd have been better making the show the fans who paid, paid for. Where. Has all that money gone?, The original premise is fine as Discovery is now in the distant future, so they can't use the excuse that the Klingon war , clashed with discovery. It's the they knuckle down and film the goddamn thing .

I saw this for the first time at the Uptown theater in Seattle back in 2015 as part of the ill-fated Galacticon IV convention. Richard Hatch himself introduced the film even! The next day I had a chance to talk to him for a couple of minutes and tell him just how much I enjoyed his performance. He's the consummate professional actor and he is sorely missed. I am happy to see that the high quality version of this film is now available on KZbin!

That was when Prelude to Axanar came out and gave Paramount an idea, they stole the Axanar idea for the Klingon/Federation War and came out with the stupid fan guidelines for fan films in an attempt to squash Alex Peters' story. Such a shitty thing to do. They should have canonized Peter's workand hired his team but I guess it was not woke enough for the suits because that's what we want, right? Such Fucktards.
