I like these schematics sets, thanks for showing them to us. Although I have to remember they are fan made, aren’t canon and are full of inaccuracies. Having said that I think this is my favourite, because it’s the most accurate apart from the name.

Boy was I psyched to get this set way back when. This fan-made Avenger pre-dates the Miranda was settled on as canon. I like Avenger. The Excelsior had an incredible set as well if you happen upon them: clear vinyl packet (like the TOS 1701) with blue insert.

By the way, what's the number on the USS Vigilant there? I ran a 1980's game aboard that ship and now wondering what her number was. 1865?

Thanks for your video always curious how such a big ship don't have a deflector dish. What's your opinion about ?

Tricky one. Maybe experimental internal dish, maybe they only patrol established safe/clear routes? Older diagrams show pre-refit ship having one hanging off the lower sensor area on the lower saucer, but i guess its just a mistake they never thought we would notice. This mistake, plus its upside down.

@@R_T_Ralph Maybe ^^ i like the fact USS EUROPA in STO collection had a small deflector. I guess it was difficult for art department to had a deflector dish on such a thin ship like the reliant, without any engineering hull. Star Enterprise had fixed this with a front thin deflector dish.

Avenger is the correct nomenclature. These documents prove that. They predate anything mentioning "Miranda." This bogus name was retconned much later by lazy writers who didn't do their research. AVENGER = REAL / MIRANDA = FAKE.

@@R_T_Ralph Incorrect! The very documents you have in your hands disproves that. Avenger Class was named after the first ship, the U.S.S. Avenger, NCC-1860. Reliant NCC-1864 was the forth one in the old Surya class vessels to get upgraded. Miranda was made up and has no basis in actual fact! There was no "U.S.S. Miranda" in any of the well documented ship registry listings.
