Couldn't have said it better about those panel shades. I've build the model a couple of times and to me it's the difference between moist and dry, just very subtle.

I always wished voyager has been "upgraded" as she went along and the end of the series to survive and ended up looking like the warship voyager, less star fleet more delta quadrant survival ship.

Agreed. And not just upgraded. Through it's voyage, it would have been cool to see Voyager take on damage, for which adaptations would be made reflecting the part of the galaxy it was in. Some would be improvements, some would be making due with what's available. Changes in materials, etc.

@@bidhrohi12 She's beautiful as she is. You can't upgrade perfection much, adding some Borg tech (and in the finale Ablative armor), is quite the cherry on top on the cake. Warship Voyager was a beast, I give her that, but the original ship wasn't a pushover eiter.

I like the Voyager warship from Star Trek 1 : Specter and in ST 3: Redemption there is an improved version in.....red, quite stunning. Damn good story too even if 3 to 4 hours per episode seems long.

It is nice to get a good look at the ship. In the episode it was dark and hard to see clearly. Sort of Voyager's answer to Mirror Mirror type ship.

I thought the same thing. Warship Voyager looked like something from the Mirror Universe if the Terran Empire hadn't fallen.

Civil unrest occurred but the two races and the Doctor avoided a war and worked out a peaceful resolution that made the two races equal partners on their world.

but the more question nagging me is can Capt. Janeway have the ability and resources (energy, replicator tech) to actually modify Voyager to have this capability? If so she didn't because of moral grounds?....

Yes, because evil Janeway had a contingent of Borg soldiers on board.

Once she upgraded Voyager with 7 of 9's help with Borg tech such as regenerative adaptive shields etc which showed as green lit parts on the hull, but then had them removed, as only a women would, or Picard.

Doesn't make any sense what is going to power all the phaser emitters? Hell in the show it could barely fire more than 4 phaser bursts before it's shields were taken down.

Cassidy Jay Williams I never got why mirror universe fed ships all looked identical to prime verse, if they build ships for conquest they shouldn’t look like explorers/defensive ships.

Actually, Practical Effects are cheaper than CGI Effects. That's the reason why the Star Wars Prequels have so many Practical Effects.
