The music is like having an extra great actor in every scene.
@Hibernicus19683 жыл бұрын
Indeed. It was very distinctive, and the instant you hear a few bars of almost any of the music they used from this show you can recognize it. How different from the bland music of TNG. Apart from the opening theme (which TNG can't claim credit for, as was recycled from Star Trek: the Motion Picture) I doubt I would recognize a single note of the music used on that show. It was completely unmemorable. This was by design. After Dennis McCarthy composed some fairly lively music for a couple of early episodes, Rick Berman came to him and told him "I don't want music in our face, I want it to be wallpaper." What an idiot. This is yet another reason I hate Rick Berman (and Brannon Braga). Think how many scenes in movies and television are _made_ by the score. Imagine Star Wars (the original trilogy, of course) or Superman: the Movie or Jaws without John Williams' music, or Conan the Barbarian without Basil Polidouris' epic soundtrack. Star Trek TOS had some incredibly good music for a TV show, and it was a huge part of the show's greatness. Figures a hack like Berman wouldn't get that.

@spuwhoКүн бұрын
In one of the novelizations of this episode, Sargon and Felicia got pretty majestic with each other in Kirk and Mulhall's bodies. Unfortunately, in the episode it was edited down to simply Felicia saying "this body pleases me...I intend to keep it" which just was a vague reference to their off camera relations. Which is funny because neither Kirk nor Mulhall knew it was happening. Only that final kiss during transpositioning was the clue to them and an embarrassing one at that.

@jamesarnette1394 Жыл бұрын
Are you claiming that the Bible is based on reality? No it is not. The Old Testament is Bronze Age mythology of desert-dwelling tribal people. The New Testament was written by people who never met Jesus and lived well after he died. And his words were chosen in such a way as to prop up whoever was in power at the time. So no, the Bible is not based on reality, and apparently neither are you.
