Took me a while to figure out how the warden knew which Kirk was real & that was a big clue -- only Kirk would call a hulking Klingon and idiot to his face while he had a blaster pointed at him. Of course there were the shackles still around Kirk's ankles that might have been a dead giveaway... XD

Wow never noticed these little but important things. So now it makes sense how the klingon jailer knew who to shoot. I've gotta watch more closely. I'm still trying to find out what Kirk smoked lolol. I'm usually so busy laughing at the antics, I never notice the little stuff until the 20th watch. Lolol Live long and prosper! William Shatner sure is....even at 90! He is still my fav.

I read somewhere recently that Marta messed up when she pointed upwards at the real Kirk. Since Marta's true form (we assume it was, anyways) was much shorter than Kirk's, she was used to looking up at him, so that was her character's mistake when she forgot that she was the same size as Kirk when she shapeshifted into his form.

What would TOS Kirk have thought of goofy older Kirk, I wonder? Shatner's approach to the role changed dramatically over the years, and I understand people change, but really there isn't much of the original Kirk left in that performance and that's very unrealistic.

If you read Alan Dean Foster's novelization of ST6, the book suggests the difference in Kirk's tone of voice vs. Martia's is what clues the Klingon in on which is which.
