This was originally produced as a high budget porno, the cut out scenes are sex scenes. It was originally done as something of a satire, but the acting talent with a few of the people and production quality was so high that a lot of the fan base has adopted it as a legitimate fan film.

This is ASTONISHINGLY good for a porn parody! Like the high levels of detail to canon and set design are incredible. Obviously, like many porn parodies, they change a few things in the aesthetics so that it's not exact. (i.e. Geordi's visor, the combadges, ship designs, etc.) But damn... this is actually incredibly well done! And Giles Ashton... his resemblance to Patrick Stewart, while not a perfect replica, is pretty wild. Aside from some of the blah acting from some of the actresses and some obvious cuts where smut would've been, this actually stands as a pretty freaking good Fan Film. And nice move, going to Vasquez Rocks! That's a nice touch.

This was actually a porn movie? I am actually quite impressed. Not only did the makers try to make this film an actual episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation. But I also thought that the actors did a marvelous job in giving into the role they were given. The many references from the real TNG episode was a nice touch and this 'episode' would even fit in the Star Trek canon quite nicely because of it. Makes me wonder if the makers as well as the actors of this film are actually fans of Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek in general. Again, great job to both the crew and the actors. Very impressive indeed.

He was pretty good. His voice can certainly do it. He even got many of the flairs right, like just the right pronunciation and subtextual irritation with his "come" and "enter" commands for the door. I get the feeling that if this ran three seasons as an actual production, this cast would actually work pretty well by the end of it. Many of these actors did a much better job than I'd expect out of this sort of production.

Wait . . . so this was from a porn movie? 😮 Rather than treating the non-porn parts as a joke, they seemed surprisingly faithful to TNG. I'm watching this and thinking, "wow, they actually watched the episodes!!" And the depictions of the characters wasn't bad, like Will Riker not quite understanding Geordi's technobabble (which happened a lot in the show) or the way Data was about to leave the Ready Room, pauses, turns and asks the Captain a question. It was even poignant and if fleshed out (no pun intended . . . ) and had been written for the actual TNG, could have been an episode. Well done!

The only thing that I find wrong with this fan movie was in the last scene. Picard was notified that they were one hour away from starbase. The Enterprise was shown going into warp when they must have already been in warp. Other than that slight misstep, this fan fan film was an excellent choice that could easily been made, as is, with the original actors at the appropriate time within the series of the orinal TNG. Great job!

1st time I watched this, I had no idea that they were porn stars, and I thought: "What a relatively well done fan film". Then I looked at the credits, and saw what I thought was a porn stars name (the lead female), and I thought, that's cool, she transitioned like Tracy Lords did in the Stephen Kings film. Then I started looking up the other actors and saw yet another who was a porn star, then another, and so on. I was amazed! Hmm, coincidence much? I think even more of it now, as they must really love Trek.

+roberto abrams yes i know what you mean i cant seem to keep up with how many there are, theres so many to watch, i seen all of the continues, and Phase II series dealing with the lost years of the original series time period, but i had no idea that there was also some next generation fan films, next thing you know there going to begin making enterprise fan films based on the enterprise series staring Scott bakula as the captain of that ship. I keep hoping for more Judge Dredd fan films but i keep getting all there star trek fan films to watch in the mean time while i wait for the judge dredd fan films to come out. im still waiting for Cursed Edge prog 4 to come out where Judge Labelle has to confront the criminal Geek Gorgan but it still has not come out yet and its been a year already since i seen the previews back in November of 2014. so long story short i agree that are a great deal of star trek fan films and more are going to be made over the next few years. i noticed that some times these fan films will bring in actors from the real star trek shows, when i first watched this one here i thought maybe Captain picard was actually Patrick stewart, well i love the fact that star trek continues to inspire all there people to keep making all these fan films, and the quality of these star trek fan films continues to improve each year.

This was good work. It always bothered me that Tasha died for nothing. Starfleet service isn't safe, but to die for no purpose? That's worse than the actual dying.

This is a great concept. Love it! The sets are amazing. The Data actor is very good. He's not totally emotionless, but he nailed the speech pattern and head movements. Picard's likeness is amazing. The voice is great too, but he's not really attempting Patrick Stewart's RP accent. He sounds like a science teacher from Bromley. It's cute. Looks like Geordie has been tinkering with holo-Leah-Brahms personality subroutine? Naughty boy. The touch-screen acting is a nice... touch. (They really should have checked for cloaked Romulan ships as soon as they found Tasha.)

How odd. One of the better fanfilms, considering the wild origins and back story. It’s obvious that the cast and production crew were fans and were far more respectful of the original versions of the characters. I like this version of the bridge - I never liked the curved railing. Also, kudos for the wonderful, authentic looking SFX. The basic plot for this could have been the basis for a good Paramount TNG episode.

It would make sense, then, that many people in France speak with an english accent in 2365 in that universe.

WigglySticksVids: If you are really interested, there is Star Trek Discovery coming out on CBS All Access on Sept. 24th. It looks to be very good, judging by the trailer. The first episode is free, then I think about $6 or so a month. There is also some GREAT fan films, such as Star Trek Continues (BEST stuff since STTNG, and I say that as a Trekker from the start in 1966), ST New Voyages, ST Requiem (starring Walter Koenig, Nichelle Nichols, Gary Graham, etc).
