The Hand of Judgement is slowly but surely becoming one of my favorite groups in Star Wars. Something about vigilante stormtroopers (with stolen ISB gear and ship no less) is just a wildly cool concept to me

@@FulcrumEntertainment Couldn't agree more. I'd love to see them in the Ahsoka show, maybe as some sort of post-empire regret on their part and wanting to right their wrongs they were asked to do on the Empires part. I mean I can wish, can't I? 😂

I loved how Mara was using the force to ever so subtly manipulate the environment during her interrogation by the commodore. That's one of my favorite uses of the force, I tried doing the same kind of stuff with my Arcane trickster rogue but my DM didn't like it.

I don't know if anyone answered the knife question for you about Stormtroopers. Basically anywhere it would make since to have a knife they would have a knife. The Recon Troopers have it specifically mentioned in their kit, but anywhere it could find a use, you'd find it included. They are military.

They would call them vibroblade's in the videogame Star Wars Clone Commando they have a blade built into the armor.

It's funny you mention interest in non force users creating ways to mimic a Jedi using the force, as there have been many cultures and people that try and do so. We see it in obi wan Kenobi. Even the mandalorians (my favorite fictional culture) adapted their technology and fighting style to combat and mimic the Jedi. Jetpacks used to combat a Jedi's Force jump, flamethrowers because lightsabers can't deflect fire, even weapons attached to their armor so they can't get ripped out of their hand via a jedi's force abilities, and let's not forget about mandalorian vambraces complete with grapple line and repulsor like what we see in rebels.

Or hand-to-hand Tari kasi Darth Maul had to use in the book "Darth Maul Lockdown" because the Emperor wanted him to evade detection as a Force user so Maul was not aloid to use a lightsaber or Force vs a fight club prison finding a thermo-nuke used to attempt murder Darth Plague best Darth Maul book.
