Truly incredible. Literally everything about this was top-notch. That's what separates you from other animators. Not only is the story and cinematic scenes amazing, but the stop motion is some of the best I've ever scene. The dialogue also really makes this stand out, and to top it you have A+ special effects, and the practical effects are beautiful. I actually felt attached to the characters; It didn't just seem like everybody was meant to die. This is the best Star Wars stop motion I've ever scene. And I mean that...

Well, it's as if part 1 wasn't badass enough, we get blown away with part two! If this is any indicator for part 3, I can't wait! Superior fight choreography, and a trult touching dynamic between the characters, they really show the chemistry of a real clone squad, and to top it off this was achieved in medias res, not from the beginning of the clone war. Fantastic! I've enjoyed working on this so much, and I can't wait for part 3. I'll just rewatch this a few hundred more times!
@napstopmotion88706 жыл бұрын
Once again you did an amazing job! You have the best Temuera Morrison impression I've ever heard - Even better than Temuera Morrison himself!
@truesonsofmandalore6 жыл бұрын
@@napstopmotion8870 well, I'm thankful and humbled to hear you say such kind words, but I wouldn't go so far as to say I'm better than the man himself, I don't think anyone could top him (but that doesn't mean I won't strive to be the best)! The hard part is keeping up the accent when trying to be expressive, the Temura clones don't exactly do that, so it's really hard to sound accurate tona and cadence-wise when trying to yell or be funny, which is a lot easier in the Baker voice lol.

I've got to admit... I don't think I've ever seen someone portray a Pollux Assassin droid so terrifyingly powerful before! That thing was like the freakin Terminator! Such an exciting stop motion..! I'd been eagerly awaiting the second part to come out and it certainly did not disappoint. Just like before the dialogue is all engaging, giving a lot of insight to the different characters. They were quite easy to distinguish apart from each other thanks to some excellent writing and voice acting. (Or in the case of Void, lack there of) Each clone has their own quirks and behaviors that lends well to making memorable protagonists. I really rooted for them and wanted them to succeed, with real stakes in this mission making the whole thing rather exciting! Your lighting work is again fantastic, giving every set a cinematic quality to it. I loved seeing some of the color contrasts, with beautiful blues and harsh reds illuminating your different backgrounds wonderfully. Some of the sets are a bit simplistic, but it certainly gives the feeling of a sterile base. And like I mentioned the lighting makes them look great. That's really important for creating a world, and too often neglected even by pros. My favorite shot was probably when Reicher started unloading his rotary cannon, clearing out the room. Everything came together to make it such a badass looking scene, from music and sound, to the aforementioned lighting and camera emphasis. Exceptional job there! (SPOILERS) I had obviously already read the script, so I knew what was going to happen, but the deaths of Riecher and Babel were really jarring. They had a lot of screentime in both episodes and one doesn't expect anything like that to happen. So well done! I felt bad for the two of them of course.. but that ties into your conflict of this episode especially towards the end. They could finish the mission potentially, but the rookiees all look up to the ARCs as their "angels". It was some really poetic but simple storytelling that worked great. It was a lot of fun to play Babel. If you ever need me to voice act again don't hesitate to ask. Your work is exceptional and it was a great honor to be a part of this project! Best of luck with any future stop motions, I can't wait to see more..
@CrusaderStudios6 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the kind words! I really look forward to your comments haha I do agree that the sets for certain parts of the base are lacking in comparison to others, and I plan on expanding the amount of materials used in backgrounds for my next project. I'm glad people are enjoying the lighting! This is my first practical use of lighting outside of university, so I'm glad something from my time in school stuck with me! Though I am going to be honest, I think Part One is better than Part Two. I've always struggled with the middle of a story. I like to think I make great beginnings and endings to stories, but even while editing this part, I didn't feel right to me. I'm hyper-critical of my work for the most part, but I knew that this feeling wasn't related to that. I'm happy people like it, however. Also, I'm very glad to hear that you liked being apart of this project! I remember watching your videos when I was younger, so it's fulfilling to have you aboard! Thank you again for your help, and stay tuned for Part Three!

Impeccable work as always. You are on a role here. Dishing out better and more authentic stories than Mel Gibson could ever dream of. The dialogue is really good and keeps the viewer from skipping it which is really hard in an almost action-only part of the film. The lighting has to be the best ever in a stop motion. You could easily win best picture. Praise to you! This may be the best thing that has ever happened in my Star Wars fan life and I thank you for getting me aboard your adventure. I hope I did not disappoint and I hope I get a chance again someday somewhere. If not, I can still tell people I was in an awesome film. Brawo!
