All you need to do now is just to copy paste the content of the hdd to another hdd and we will have the game on pc.Since its unreal engine 3, im pretty sure the machine is running windows vista 32bit in the background(as time crisis 5 did>another UE3 game,same company and time frame) and chances that is just a normal pc game are very high.I loud love to help with porting info if needed just by looking at the files as i have close to 9 years of UDK experience(unreal engine 3)

spent 40$ and placed 3rd!! fantastic controls, very immersive, y really have to turn your head to look at ships to left and right. when u sit inside the pod the "real" world disappears and that's the point.

Congrats on getting Star Wars Battle Pod! One of my local arcades just got this a week or two ago. I got to play through the whole game because of the game randomly giving out credits (Vader's Revenge took a ton of tries to pass though)...

TheBlackbirdii There are some nuanced differences between this and the Gundam pods - the Gundams being an earlier model and some changes to the control panel (particularly that the throttle works more like a joystick on Gundam whereas here it is a straight up throttle). The hardware for this is more powerful, PC-based "ES3+" hardware and Unreal Engine 3. This cabinet also has different listed dimensions than the Mach Storm: Width 74″ × Depth 67″ × Height 94.5″

I would like to know if it is possible to rip the programming from this machine to a pc. As this can easily be recreated with a simple projector, concaved screen, and joysticks. I would be fully into playing something like this in a home theater.

the lens has a kind of fish eye dome to project the image properly

If you look closely as they are building it, you'll see that it has a PC in it that runs the software. What OS or proprietary software it's base is, is beyond me but, I'm sure a boot image file can be made off of the hard drive. The fish eye cap is not the expensive part, the concave screen is. People charge an arm and leg for concave screens.

Not as it was designed, although I doubt it would take much work to install Mach Storm into it. I would have liked to have tried Star Wars Trilogy Arcade or Starblade in it, but the image and controls probably wouldn't have worked right. Is this the standard or premium version? I just can't see from the online descriptions what the difference is to justify the extra 65K. Can the standard version be bought in both decals (Vader & the version you have)? Just curious. Looks awesome

+iggiekane There are three versions: Standard (also called Flat Screen); Deluxe (the Pod as shown in the video) and the Premium (also a Pod but it has the artwork you mention, the motion seat, leather on the seat, special carpet inside the game; a special plaque; your name in the credits and it costs as much as a house :P )
