disneys "new canon" generally sucks, but the design of the "first order" armor is top notch. it just feels so.... clean.

The only thing redeemable about the sequel trilogy. The First Order is just an intresting concept that could fit in as a counter-rebellion to the New Republic. Instead they chose the "somehow Palpatine returned" route and ruined the only thing that actually had some great potential

I disagree. The armor looks silly at times, nowhere near as cool as the Imperial armor.
