Yes! The dynamics of the characters are quite similar but also the tone of it matches Star Wars. It's a big, fun action-adventure movie and I really recommend it as an introduction to Kurosawa movies.

Honestly, to me it sounded like someone just ran it through Google Translate and then read it out loud, but not as a native Japanese speakers. The sentences also sound unnatural because of the vocabulary choices.@@Matt..S

I'd say using DeepL would be a better choice for translating sentences, it translates stuff into sounding more natural. It still uses "anata" for "you" often though
