The planet Anakin and Ventress dueled on is Yavin 4, aka rebel base where they blew up the first Death Star. The temples are the same one the Rebellion uses to house their fighters later

The wolf-man looking Jedi isn't the first Shistavanen we've seen. In the original cantina scene in ANH, there is another one named Lak Sivrak, but he looked kinda fake so he was replaced with a totally different alien in the Special Edition.

I want to start by saying that the division of fandom into legends and canon is stupid both sides have a lot of good and a sea of meh good enough this was THE clone wars for most kids of the real prequel era not those who were like 5 and then grew up latter with the other show, who basically retconed everything the original clone wars multimedia project of the 2002-2005 period, it both made the clones badass and the CIS into believable large scale threat everyone has an early 90s anime inspired power spike, the most bs one being mace, grievous, shak ti, anakin and ventress who first appeared here are more in line with other versions of themselves this is why we knew wtf was happening on the opening on rots, who grievous was. hell at the time before george backtracked into making him a cowardly weaker grunt this is what he was supposed to be, if you look at some behind the scenes from ROTS you'll see concept art for movie grievous before the final one with a white skullplate and white cape with a bit of red instead of bone/yellowish and more withered in the final version and I just thought that one was made around the show was in production

I never watched this series growing up, I was put off by the animation style, but seeing Mace Windu have exaggerated powers is pretty fun.

Personally I love the sheer scale of the battles and implied conflict on the show I think its less of a 2-d thing and more the scope, TCW (2008) has a very very small scale at times, maul with a bunch of randos, some transports, deathwatch and its fighters (who really should have been the mandalorian protectorate since that was a way bigger group that worked with the cis, vs deathwatch that are basically mandalorian supremacist terrorists who would have turned on the cis if maul didnt take over first) are treated as a threat to the republic and CIS factions that spans thousands of worlds and depending on author numbers hundreds of thousands of vessels in navies, its definetely not objective or a hard fact but I always preferred this scope and also the clones while being cool die a lot and there isn't any chips they even sound weird and direct which is inline of how it was at the time, grunts to throw at the meat grinder

Nice, Guys. I have to admit, it some ways, it's unfortunate that the 2003 series (which I was never much of a fan of, since I so much disliked Episode II, and STILL DO, and I didn't care for the brevity of each episode) isn't canon...some of the deeper, darker aspects of WAR and The Sith shine through in this iteration. BUT, the 3-D animation of the Lucas and Filoni's TCW is spectacular...once you get to the later Seasons. Also, the characterizations, world-building, and intrigues are good quality. I still hope for there to be a theatrical release of The Clone Wars: The Siege Of Mandalore, featuring a 3-D remake of The Battle Of Coruscant included between the point that Anakin and Obi-Wan shove off to Coruscant and Ahsoka, Bo-Katan, Rex, and half of The 501st Battalion travel to Mandalore. That battle and chase sequence between General Grievous (who is SO MUCH cooler in this iteration) and the Jedi protecting Chancellor Palpatine is too good not to include in official Animated SW canon. Interestingly enough, all of those scenes were supposed to be in Episode III; but, as George Lucas stated, the whole introduction lasted 45 minutes, and would've made the movie over 3-hrs. long. P.S. That duel between Anakin and Ventress, in the rain (not sure if I knew it was Yavin) is STILL COOL. P.P.S. Yes, can We please have a Wolf Jedi (like the one We saw in The Cantina on Tatooine)? P.P.P.S Wait, did I hear that right?; "Enter The Mother's mouth....to awake her inner flame..."?! Talk about a double entendre. Thanks, Ben and Joey. May The Force Be With You.

Anthony, Thanks so much for watching and for your comment! We can only hope that some day we get to see a lot of the content of Clone Wars and The Clone Wars to be included in a theatrical release. To be honest a 3 hour ROTS wouldn't have been that bad. The Anakin and Ventress battle is certainly one of if not the biggest highlight of the show! We definitely could use a wolf Jedi 🐺 The whole spiritual awakening piece of the end is one of the more ... interesting plot choices. May The Force Be With You!

@@HothHangout Come to think of it, knowing Dave "Trapper Wolf" Filoni, it could be a given, that We may see a Wolf Jedi...maybe even one that survived through to The New Republic. After all, George Lucas has stated that, by the time of ROTJ, there were around 45 Hidden Jedi, Former Jedi, Former Padawans (I'd include Gungi, Grogu, the Rockstar from SW: Visions' "Tatooine Rhapsody", the unnamed female character from "The Village Bride", and Tobi, from "TO-B1"), Force-sensitives (I'd include Lop and Ocho from SW: Visions, and those kids in the upcoming, Skeleton Crew), and Force-users (Ahsoka) existent in the galaxy. 10,000 Jedi reduced to maybe 20 to 30...Sidious very much succeeded.
