Anakin in each movie gets crazier and crazier and gets closer to the Dark Side, although he doesn't want to be bad, sadly he has to do it because he knows he has no choice... he's already done enough Crimes and Know that there is no turning back. But the Anakin of the 2003 and 2008 Series was always the Era where the Character was at his Best Moment. A Hero who was growing, but at the same time you could tell he wasn't well... The Dark Side was always in him, and it didn't matter if he wanted to deny it... he knew it was true. ... Although that Yes... And they all emphasize, his skills were never the part in doubt. He hadn't had the time to properly go through the mental training. You see both ends of the argument getting addressed at the start of Part 2, by Mundi and 'Curly Claws.' I actually watched this series for the first time a few years ago and I was blown away by it! - The story is great and transitions near flawlessly into Revenge of the Sith. - The action is awesome and there's so much of it! - Character interactions between Obi-Wan and Anakin during the second half are pretty fun to watch. - Grievous is a beast! Like that scene of him battle Ki-Adi Mundi and the other Jedi was insane! - The Jedi Council scene actually makes it feel like a council. Like in every other movie or show where the council is on screen it always seems like it's only 2 or 3 people talking. Here, nearly everyone on the council gets a voice line and there is actual discussion between members. I honestly wish we got to see more of that but eh, what can you do. A do have a few nitpicks: - I'm a bit mixed on some of the character designs (Windu and Palpatine in particular), though the overall art style and animation still look amazing - While the action is badass, there are a few moments that seem a bit over the top like WIndu karate chopping droids with his bare hands or him driving a droid fighter by ripping into its wiring. Badass, sure but like a bit much IMO. But none of that comes even close to ruining this version of the Clone Wars for me, this show is awesome!

Fun fact: Fordo (the Red ARC trooper captain) was forcibly pulled from the frontlines by Palpatine because he was literally acing every single mission they sent him on. He was too good at his job 💀
@CloneCommanderCrater11022 ай бұрын
That's not true at all. All we know about Fordo is that: - He was one of the 100 Alpha ARCs (Alpha-77) - He present for and the battle of Muunilinst, mission to Hypori, and battle of Coruscant - He led a unit of ARCs known as the Muunilinst 10 - He was awarded the Chancellor's Service Medal for his heroics during Hypori but he instead had it transferred and awarded posthumously to the one member of his squad to die on Muunilinst That's it, that's literally all the official information there is on Fordo. There was never anything on him being pulled from the front for being too effective.

The thing that I love about this version of Clone Wars is how they do justice to General Grevious by making him an actual Jedi killer and a precursor to Darth Vader. One thing I hate about the 3D Clone Wars is they did Grevious dirty by making him whiney, pathetic, and incompetent.

@@rvds2040 Just because Lucas wanted him to be the mustache twirling, “I’ll get you next time,” Saturday morning villain doesn’t take away how gutted he was. Like I get he couldn’t be as OP in the new Clone Wars but he is always proclaimed to be a powerful and honorable Jedi killer yet he always was the opposite. This guy literally got beat by the Gungans and they did it fairly easily.
@saitouhajime32 ай бұрын
Well let's be honest here, this was made before Lucas had finalized Grevious. And we know the origins of Star Wars are heavily inspired by Flash Gordan. It should not surprise anyone that most villains have that mustache twirling flair to them. It's just more restrained because other writers were more involved in episodes 4-6.

@@AceBountyHunterRex It changes a TON of stuff to benefit popular characters exclusive to the show at the time that undo a lot of concepts that the movies themselves set, like Anakin being the 21st Jedi to leave the Order, but now there's 2 more because we had to have his Padawan live through Order 66. Clones don't do what their told because their entire lives are built around it, they have computer chips in their brain that just overwrite all thought and process instead of them actually thinking, eliminating the entire concept of clones being superior to droids because they can think.
@thetexanjedi952 ай бұрын
The clones in the beginning are ARC troopers. The red one (Captain Fordo Alpha-77) and the two blue ones (lieutenants) are Alpha class ARC troopers. They are the second generation of ARC troopers and were trained directly by Jango Fett himself, meaning the are some of the best around, besides the Null ARC troopers (the first generation of ARC troopers, only 6 of those were successfully made, but that's another rabbit hole). This show used to be a part of the old Star Wars canon (which is now called Legends or the EU) before Disney took over.

"If they would've just accepted him, would he have turned out different?" The problem is that it doesn't really change the circumstances of his turn or why he did. His mom still dies he still finds her just before death. He still marries padme she still gets pregnant he still wouldn't talk about it except to maybe, and that's a big maybe, Kenobi. All of which still inevitably leads to his decision. Of which he still chooses himself as he did when that choice was presented to him.

People have already said, but I'll join in. The clones that had colourful armour plus that kilt or skirt-like cover (called a kama) and behaved differently were Advanced Recon Commando (ARC) Troopers. These were clones given more advanced training by Jango Fett himself to make them more independent and quick-thinking. In the case of Captain Fordo shown in this cartoon (the red one with dual pistols), the guy was a one-man army even if alone. And this isn't even mentioning the even more powerful Null-Class ARCs.

The big armored guy who laughs when Obi-wan stabs him with his lightsaber is not dead, his species is kind of a head with a body made out of independently growing and regenerating cords of muscle and other bits that can function as various organs on demand. In short you need to take out the head to be sure and preferably most of the rest of one to reliably kill them. Note how the helmet was empty? No head to be seen? Yeah Durge (the name of the guy) got away.
