After playing Jedi Knight when I was a child all the time, I decided to go through the entire saga like 4 years ago. I played Dark Forces on the dosbox emulator with the old school controls, and I absolutely loved it. I thought it was going to be another doom clone, but this had levels with actual architecture, a very complex story, Jan appearing as an npc. It was just so great experiencing it.

"Finally, some good f'ing game" - Kyle Ramsay. I wasn't expecting for you to cover this old game about Jesus Katarn (who also has 3 lives at the start of each mission... strange). A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one. Now on to the next project! (which I hope is the second Dark Forces game, since I couldn't actually finish it myself... yet I was somehow able to finish the first game)

Will eventually get to Dark Forces 2, just waiting for the Force Engine mod on that one.

Yep I still have it on PS1 waited with no memory card seeing how far I could get overtime and did not realize just the mastery I held in my hands and the sheer polish but thanks to this game it made me disappointingly desire Kyle katarn in Rogue one when it was announced 😢

Is dark forces too hard or too easy on medium?? Or just right???

@@InfoGuyGaming im an experienced gamer who has played shooters most of my life, so if anything, I should just start dark forces on hard?? I guess I can bump it down to medium if I have too much trouble in the later levels?? Or is hard difficulty managable all the way through on console??

@@josesosa3337 Hard is just more enemies, so it more just managing ammo. But like you said try on hard and if gets too tricky just bump down the difficulty.
