Ironically enough, both Anakin and Vader would probably enjoy a welding job. Not just because of the whole "melting metal" thing but also because they genuinely enjoyed hands on, mechanicak and engineering work. And we know this because he strsight up has said that he misses building podracers and we've seen the comics of him spending his spare time making mechanical parts and repairing speeders. So yeah, this could actually be a career path I'd reckon skywalker would take.
