As much as The Phantom Menace is hated, and in many ways, justifiably, there will always be one scene in the film that will be considered a classic, and absolutely THE BEST Lightsaber Duel of all-time: Qui-Gon Jin/Obi-Wan Kenobi vs. Darth Maul. The entire duel is one incredibly choreographed and amazingly shot scene! There has never been and never will be another Lightsaber battle like that one. From the moment Darth Maul ignites that amazing double bladed lightsaber, to the clash between Maul and Kenobi after Qui-Gon is struck down, the entire scene exudes "Star Wars"! I can sit there and watch that whole scene and still get chills up my spine! Darth Maul was completely underutilized and should have been the "menace" that bated the Jedi at every turn throughout the trilogy! One of the greatest "evil" characters in all of Star Wars!

Imagine if John Williams never went into music, genuinely imagine how different a state the world would be in, if you properly think about it, things would be massively different in today's modern culture if pieces of music like this didn't exist. That is the power of music, and the unbelievable legacy of John Williams

This song is so special because it perfectly illustrates the drama of the fight for the soul of the galaxy. Will Qui-Gon win and train the boy? Or will evil win and eventually corrupt the boy. We knew the answer, but the fate was still to be determined...

If blockbuster films existed hundreds of years ago as they do today, you better believe that Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, etc would be composing scores in the same manner as Williams. He definitely belongs in that group and we’re all lucky to have lived during his lifetime.

John Williams is an amazing composer, and his main focus on the Star Wars franchise is a testament to his talent and skill. His ability to capture the essence of the Star Wars universe through his music is truly remarkable. From the iconic opening fanfare to the haunting melodies of the Force theme, Williams has created a musical world that has become synonymous with the Star Wars films. His compositions are not only memorable but also have the power to transport listeners to a galaxy far, far away. The way he weaves together different themes and motifs throughout the films is masterful, enhancing the storytelling and creating a sense of emotional depth. Williams' music has become as much a part of the Star Wars experience as the characters and the visuals. His contributions to the franchise have helped shape it into what it is today, and his influence can be felt in the countless other composers who have been inspired by his work. John Williams' talent as a composer and his dedication to capturing the essence of the Star Wars universe make him
