Me too. Surprised. For years I thought having actors likeness in the games meant they were stuck in licensing hell like Goldeneye was for 20 years. I guess that doesn't matter and Samuel L Jackson won't see a penny of the money this rerelease makes.

Windu originally had a blue saber before attack of the clones (Tales of the Jedi technically breaks lore). All the other characters sabers were changed to blue and green to simplify the VFX process on ep2.

It was actually Ki-Adi-Mundi who had a purple lightsaber at first, but then he got a blue one in Episodes II and III. So it's funny how Mace Windu started with a blue lightsaber before he changed to a purple one for those movies.

The lore explanation was that he and some Jedi who Mace respected alot switched sabers as a testament of their friendship or something like that. @@Bauglir100

This is one of my favorite star wars games. I have it on both ps1 and dreamcast. It looks like this is based off the dreamcast version. The dreamcast version was alot easier than the ps1 version. Prolly the better choice for new comers who will try this out for the 1st time.

I am hoping for Star Wars the force unleashed 2 to come to Nintendo Switch! As a matter of fact I want that game and force unleashed 1 officially ported to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and for the ports to be of Xbox and PS3 versions remasters for modern consoles and with new content

in the ps1 version the shadows were darker, and it was better for the players, since the shadows made it easy to navigate over the platforms when the character was in the air

02:28 - The lightsabers weren't incorrect: the lore about it didn't give enough information so the producers probably based the colors on the "The Phantom Menace" line of action figures released a year before the game which portrayed Mace Windu with a blue lightsaber, Adi-Gallia with red and Ki-Adi-Mundi with purple.

This is so damn cool!!! This most nostalgic game ever for me! I was actually able to get my PS1 up and running again a couple months ago and I was playing this but the system finally took a dump on me lol. So the fact that it’s getting re released for the PS5 is so amazing!

Yeah anyone complaining about the price doesn't live in the real world. Back even 20 years ago a game publisher wouldn't so much as spit in your general direction for less than $20. It's the minimum going rate for any new video game since 2003. Just wish you got a game case and manual with it.

You'd think Jedi Power Battles would've been ported a lot sooner this year, considering that the 25th anniversary of the movie was in May, but better late than never. I personally would've hoped they'd port the TPM game that was also on PS1, but I've been meaning to check out Jedi Power Battles too since I recently bought the GBA version. I'd love to see the other Episode I tie-ins get remasters too, but I understand Aspyr already has a lot on their plate as it is. Can't wait to play this on the Switch!

Lightsabers were correct... acording the the previous UE. They were the ones created for SW1 before SW2 change them. The blue saber of Mass can even been see in the movie.

I had got this game back in the day when It was released from my dad, he came to pick me up via visitation and took me to toy's r us, I picked this game and it always had a special place in my heart both being star wars and a gift from my dad who I did not get to see often. I was just playing this via emulation about 5 months ago trying to get my now lady to play it with me but it was pretty aged, I think this will help a little with that and now we can actually play it !, I'm hyped !, also I hope this does well and somebody has the same Idea I have thought of and makes a proper sequel to this game so we can play throughout the entire saga instead of just episode 1.

Roque Squadron was amazing, but it will never see the light of day. If I remember correctly. There was something different with the IP and developers were not allowed to remake the game. Hopefully I'm wrong. I'd love to see it come out.

This game is basically a what if scenario, like what if Mace Windu, Adi Gallia, and/or Plo Koon got sent to Naboo instead of just Qui-Gon Jinn or Obi-Wan Kenobi. But I wouldn’t mind a teenage Aayla Secura tagging along too, but you’d have to include Quinlan Vos as well. And that won’t be hard since he was in the movie too.

Definitely a "You had to have been there" type title. The Phantom Menace had just come out on VHS and we were starved for video games based on the first Star Wars film in almost 20 years. Jedi Power Battles was a difficult game but we liked the co-op and the fact you could play as these powerful characters that just weren't represented in the original trilogy.

This back in the day was soo good. Graphics arent everything this game has amazing music, challenging lvls and more depht in combos when you but time in it. Im definitely playing this with me brother again only this time 20 Years later

Total scam, just like their "battlefront collection." It looks the same as the Dreamcast version, which is lesser known because most people played on PS1. Why would you remaster something as ancient as this anyway? It needs a reMAKE. Got excited about this but it's just the same game I played over 20 years ago.
