Hey friends! Thanks for accompanying me on another Star Wars movie, I love this world and its characters! Been getting a lot of comments about this, so I'm just gonna leave this here: *yes, I do plan to watch the other Star Wars movies*. I know some of you feel very strongly about them, but please respect my experience as a first time watcher and don't try to influence how I feel about a movie before I watch it. I'd really like to make up my own mind. After talking it out with my Patreon, next we'll do Solo, then Rogue One, then the sequels. I'm looking forward to it! Maybe we'll agree about those movies, or maybe we won't. But above all I hope we can stay respectful and friendly.

I'm glad you aren't listening the naysayers and rather watch them and form your own opinions. I'm personally not the biggest fan of the sequel trilogy (*cough* The Last Jedi *cough*) but I still think they are worth watching and I know that there is lots of people who enjoy them and find them very entertaining. As you delve more into SW you'll notice that there is constant shitstorm in the fandom and there is ALWAYS folk who think they know what you should watch and like. I have no idea how so many people have missed the core message of this franchise, but somehow that seems to be the reality. So, it's better to shut out all of the negative crap and just keep an open mind & have fun.

When Palpatine tells Anakin to leave Obi-Wan to die, Anakin replied "His fate will be the same as ours". Well, they all died on a Death Star and they were all killed by Anakin/Vader. So, yeah.

​@SoTOreo your comment might make more sense if you rewrote it..because it reads as if you think Disney had something to do with ROTS. Sentence structure is important when trying to communicate ideas.. also it's unclear based on how it's written whether or not you believe good and evil is only perspective or if you are saying that's what Disney believes etc. I for one believe that good and evil IS perception based...like for instance you have a morale code where murder is a crime or unforgivable sin...whereas someone else may be from a culture where it is not viewed in the same way...who is to say which is correct? And if those morales are based a religion or diety and you have never seen your god and they have never seen theres..then who is to say that either have any meaning? But also just to be clear I am the mind that murder is morally wrong except under very few and and strict circumstance. And I base that morale conviction on having gone to war and seen the effects of both taking life and seeing it taken has on a person's psyche. Anyways cheers and apologies if any of my reply reads as combative it's merely an attempt to understand what you meant.

Remember Palpatine has been grooming Anakin since he was a small child . The Jedi were very divided about him and I think some were even Jealous of him. Mace being the worst of all of them . Then they wanted him to spy on a Father figure to him. In a lot of ways the Jedi were just as responsible as Palpatine for his Dark Turn. He could not win.

It's easy to forget that Anakin met Palplatine hefore he met the jedi counsel and first impressions really do matter When Anakin met the jedi they forcefully read his mind, told him he was wrong for missing his mother and denied him of his dream to be a jedi While Palpatine welcomed everyone on the landing platform, was worried about the queen/ Anakin's future wife and showed more interest in Anakin than the counsel ever did

The Jedi and their arrogance failed Anakin, as well as being groomed by Palps and the other things that happen. Anakin needed QuiGon. Also The Clone Wars series adds so much to the character of Anakin and his story arc. You see how as Ahsoka puts it “he was the best of us”.

Qui Gonn spirit taught Obi Wan to become a force ghost, (at the end of the movie Yoda said to Obi that someone returned from the netherworld of the force). In all those years in solitude in Tatooine Obi Wan learnt it. That´s why he told Vader in episode IV: "if you strike me down, I´ll become more powerful that you can possibly imagine".

The thing is, particularly with hard core fans that really got into the books, comics and games, a lot of those minor Jedi had very deep and detailed back stories. To see all of those characters that we invested years of following and getting to know, seeing them die like that, it still is traumatizing. To this day.

How did Anakin go from being a sweet little boy to Darth Vader? Well.... it was all the Jedi's fault. If Qui-gon Jinn had lived, things may have turned out differently, as he was clearly the father figure that the boy needed, but Obi-wan had to fill in instead, and always viewed Anakin as a younger brother. Also, being just out of training himself, Obi-wan wasn't prepared to train a 9 year old boy (since most Jedi Younglings are taken to the Temple at age 1-2). The Jedi never thought to free his mother from slavery even though it would have been a simple affair for them, and tried to force their dogmatic teachings of emotion suppression on him after he'd already developed his own persona (which is why children are taken to the Temple so young, so they don't form attachments and are thus molded in the Jedi way from the start). Obi-wan was used to this style of teaching and was not prepared for how Anakin would react to how harsh he was, sowing the seeds of resentment in him early. Anakin has also seen all of the corruption in the Republic, in the Senate via his dealings with Padme during the Clone Wars, their turning a blind eye to smuggling, slavery, and other bad shit in the name of profit, and even the Jedi's hypocrisy in claiming to be peacekeepers and yet pushing for more offensives during the war instead of even attempting diplomacy. Add to that when Anakin goes to Yoda for advice, he gets the typical "Hands-off" treatment that Yoda is famous for, and is left feeling completely misunderstood, which further confuses his loyalties. He wants to be a good Jedi, but he sees how what they do isn't always good. He's always held that a benevolent tyranny is better than a democracy of idiots and thieves, and Palpatine uses that and other confidences to draw him in to his plots while seeming to be a friend. This is not Anakin's fault, and he does try to do the right thing after he finds out Palpatine is Darth Sidious, but then he sees Mace Windu do the exact thing he berated himself for earlier as 'not the Jedi way' and realises the Jedi are not the good guys they should be. After this, he basically feels like he has no choice but to follow through on his actions, which we all know is just digging himself into a deeper hole, but he doesn't realize this at first. Having always viewed the Dark Side as just another tool and not an inherently corrupting force also leads to his fall, especially after being told he's THE CHOSEN ONE his whole life and seeing the power he gets from tapping the Dark Side. You can tell he regrets some of what he's doing when he's standing on that balcony on Mustafar, tears falling, but he's in too deep now to go back. Finally, his outer hatred of Obi-Wan, of the Order, and of the Republic at the end are just pale reflections of his own self-hatred for all of the things he's done and knowing in the end that he didn't even achieve his goal of saving Padme. This is where his true strength as Vader comes from. Anakin would’ve done better in the older Jedi order (over 1,000 years ago) which was more pragmatic, more adaptable, and didn’t discourage attachments. Back then Jedi even had families and kids of their own. In the past it was the Sith who were dogmatic, and rigid. However ever since the last battle between the Jedi and the Sith (1,000 years ago) it’s now the Jedi who are too rigid, whereas the Sith had evolved and adapted. What Palpatine said about the Republic not being what it once was in Episode One, the same can be said of the current Jedi Order, ever since their last battle with the Sith. The Jedi had become too dogmatic, arrogant, rigid, and too detached from others. The Jedi had also become too out of touch with things, they failed to see that the galaxy was changing, that people had lost faith in the Republic which had become too corrupt and dysfunctional. The hypocrisy of the Jedi is that while they preached against attachments, they were too ‘attached’ to the Republic and the power that it gave them, they had become too political. They chose to follow the will of a corrupt Senate instead of the will of the Force like Qui Gon did. Qui Gon was the last true Jedi until Luke came along, he understood how misguided the Order had become. Obi Wan should’ve followed his example and not taken a seat on the Council. Anakin felt more alone after Ahsoka left the Order and it seemed to him that Obi Wan had chosen the Council over him, that he had abandoned him. Only after the fall of the Republic and the Order did Obi Wan realize that Qui Gon had been right all along. Both Obi Wan and Yoda went about training Luke a lot differently, they were kinder, more understanding, and not so rigid. They were both determined to mend the mistakes they had made with Anakin. Luke’s new Order in Star Wars Legends is a lot better than the previous Order had been.

Common misconception. The Jedi have always discouraged attachments. This never changed. Not even for Luke's New Jedi Order. That isn't to say that the jedi aren't allowed to love. As Anakin explained in AOTC, they are encouraged to love everyone equally. This is compassion. Attachment is when you love someone so much that you are unable to let go (detach) yourself from them. Think of the saying: "With great power comes great responsibility." In this instance that means that with the powers of a jedi, you should use it responsibly and not for fulfilling individual needs and wants. Attachment is the most unhealthy form of love. It is an obsession. Jedi are allowed to love as long they do not become attached. Jedi like Obi Wan and Ki Adi Mundi understood this perfectly. Obi Wan loved Satine but ultimately let go of her because he knew it would affect his commitment to the Jedi Order. Ki Adi Mundi had a family but ultimately he also could let go of his family. Anakin's love for Padme was the complete opposite. After the death of his mother he grew obsessed with her and promised to never let anyone go again. This is what led Anakin to the dark side, proving that the Jedi were right in forbidding attachments. Yes, the Jedi did play a role in Anakin's turn to the dark side. But you put far too much blame on the Jedi and not enough on Anakin himself. If Anakin wanted to fall in love and get married with Padme, thats fine. But he should have left the Jedi Order. Just like Obi Wan was planning to do when he realized he was becoming attached to Satine. But instead Anakin was selfish. He wanted to be a powerful jedi while also having the benefits of an ordinary civilian life. He wanted to have his cake and eat it too. Also freeing his mother is not as easy a task as you think. Shmi Skywalker belonged to the Hutts of Tatooine where the Republic and by extension, the Jedi, did not have jurisdiction. Qui Gon put this quite plainly in TPM. They also did not go there to rescue slaves. Had Anakin not been so strong with the force, he would not have been freed. That was the only reason he was rescued. Freeing Anakin's mother was also counterproductive to Anakin becoming a jedi. Ultimately it was Qui Gon's idea to make Anakin a jedi. The Jedi Council already predicted he would be dangerous due to him having formed attachments. They only really accepted Anakin into the Jedi Order to respect Qui Gon's final wish. While your comment is very well written, detailed and seemingly thorough. There is a little too much Anakin glazing and apologism for my liking. While there were many factors for Anakin's turn, the largest factor was Anakin's greed.

@@tseh3 Curious if you think that if the council had stood by their initial conclusion to not train Anakin would he not have become a sith or do you think Palpatine would find him anyway considering how strong in the force he was? I cant remember if Anakin was mentioned i the Plaguesis book, it was a while ago i read it. Personally i am unsure but i do believe that Palps dream of the Empire would still have happened because Anakin was only a tool. He would have found other ways. After all the dreams, plans and workings sort of started with Plaguesis even though his focus eventually drifted more to his obsession about life, death and the force in the end.

But the force rejected their manipulation and created Anakin in response. As for whether Anakin would have turned to the dark side, that is still up in the air. The Chosen One prophecy makes it clear that he will destroy the Sith and thus bring balance to the force. So if we are to take the Chosen One prophecy literally, had Qui Gon not found Anakin, I believe that he would have been discovered by another Jedi or force wielder at some point. Because in order to fulfil the Chosen One prophecy I would assume he would need to be trained in the ways of the force somehow. So it is possible that Sidious would have found him in this instance had Qui Gon failed to do so. However, if we are to ignore the Chosen One prophecy and pretend it doesnt exist. Then I do not think that Sidious would have discovered him.

Yeah, that's how the average 10-year-old would look at it, making sure the teams are evenly matched. If that was the case, he brought the Force out of balance when he destroyed Sheev and himself, because then the Jedi were up 1-0 with only Luke left. Unless you count Filoni's fan fiction, with Ahsoka and the rest. Anakin brought balance when he destroyed Sheev, not before.

People would camp in lines outside movie theaters days before the release to be part of the first showing. Star Wars fans are pretty crazy.

What you say is correct on paper and yes, inevitable but it doesn't make that moment any easier to deal with. When the film first came out, sure I understood what Yoda was saying was simply logical but jump 15 years later and my mom was wasting away with no hope of a cure and I ain't gonna lie, I would have done anything, paid any price to save her, no matter how terrible. When you're caught up in a whirl of emotion like that, it's so hard to think straight.

Well, the Palpatine reveal caught you by surprise which is a delightful rarity! Lucas provided visual and vocal cues since "Phantom Menace" that Palpatine and Sidious were one and the same. Ian McDiarmid plays the Emperor in all the Star Wars films in which he appears. He's the one character having a total blast throughout the prequels because he's pulling everybody's strings! His seduction of Anakin is masterful. The absolute best line of the Prequel trilogy goes to Natalie Portman: "So this is how liberty dies...with thunderous applause." Wookiees live for hundreds of years! In "Revenge of the Sith", Chewbacca is 181 years old! It is a popular belief that Padme's life force was drained out of her and channeled into Anakin by Palpatine which is why her death and his re-birth are juxtaposed by Lucas. Therefore, Palpy is directly responsible for the death of the person he convinced Anakin he could save prompting his betrayal of the Jedi in the first place! A very cruel manipulation. One of the Jedi Order's problems is that they had become ossified by dogma and had lost touch with their true purpose. This made them vulnerable to manipulation by the Sith and blind to their own shortcomings. Iconoclasts like Qui-Gon sought esoteric knowledge beyond ordained teachings to plumb deeper truths and were viewed as troublesome for suggesting the Order had become complacent and stagnant. The knowledge Yoda imparts to Obi-Wan at the end is his discovery of the path to immortality. His spiritual journey is chronicled in the animated "Clone Wars" when he is instructed in the deepest mysteries of the Force. Jedi immortality manifests as the Force-ghosts you see in the Classic trilogy. This was an ability unknown to the Order until Qui-Gon contacts Yoda which is why there are no Force-ghosts in the Prequel trilogy. The Jedi are all but exterminated by Order 66 much like how the Knights Templar were rounded up on a single day, Friday the 13th, in October 1307, by order of the French King Philip IV in a series of coordinated, simultaneous arrests. Emperor Palpatine initiated a smear campaign to vilify the Jedi and expunged any mention of them from the historical record. Philip IV did the same to the Templars demonizing them with false allegations of larceny, murder, sexual perversion, sedition and Satanism that led to their mass burning at the stake with the blessing of the Papacy! Palpy achieved control of a galaxy with his scheme while Philip was simply dodging the crushing debt he owed the Order! The clones are tragic pawns in Palpatine's scheme. They were bred by the Republic and were loyal to their creators serving through thick and thin with their Jedi Generals. The animated "Clone Wars" does a magnificent job of individualizing the troopers. However, they were engineered with a fail-safe to force them to obey executive decisions without question. Initiating Order 66 flips the switch in their brains forcibly turning them against the Jedi whom they previously would have died for. It's a horrifying betrayal not least of which to the clones themselves. Although the Separatist leadership was led by Count Dooku, they weren't privy to the collusion between Dooku and Supreme Chancellor Palpatine. Each Sith Lord led a faction in the Clone Wars to play both sides against each other creating chaos they could manipulate to their personal advantage! The populations of the worlds which aligned with one faction or the other truly believed in their respective causes which were socioeconomic and geopolitical. The layman had no idea he was just a pawn in Palpatine's grand scheme. With the Jedi exterminated, the greatest threat to his plan was taken off the board and he sent Vader to dispose of the Separatist leadership so he could consolidate power over the organizations they represented. The Separatist worlds relied on the support of those industries and institutions so those worlds would fall in line once those support systems were firmly in the Emperor's grip. The japor snippet pendant Amidala was buried wearing was the same one Anakin carved for her in "Phantom Menace". Senator Bail Organa orders C-3PO's mind to be wiped but R2-D2's CPU is left intact. That series wasn't even a thing when this movie was filmed. It's a retcon of the story and Ahsoka is the biggest proof of that. Nobody even mentions her in this movie or the OT. So, it's obvious that Anakin is referring to their duel on Geonosis, they simply hadn't seen each other in 3 years. Which actually makes more sense than Dooku being the Saturday morning cartoon villain. Another thing is when Grievous reveals to Obi-Wan that Dooku trained him in lightsaber combat. Why would he say that, if they already fought countless times, like they do in the series? According to Sam Witwer, Filoni even forgot that Padmé and Shmi met in Episode 1. The guy is a complete clown and he showed it fully with his Ahsoka series.

In the opening battle sequence, one ship is hit from a shell, and burning debris hits the ship next to it. The editors put everything in this film. Excluding the kitchen sink. That. Burning Debris is a Kitchen Sink! Also, the Blue Female standing with the Chancellor is George Lucas's Daughter. When Anakin runs up the stairs the couple he passed at the top is his other Daughter and Son-in-law. Then the Blue couple he passes right before he enters the opra is George Lucas and the same Daughter from earlier. The Kid the 501st Killed on the Landing Platform is his Son. If i were you, I'd STOP WITH THE SAGA! watch Rouge One, Solo, Clone War, Rebles, The Mandalorian, The Last half of Book of Boba Fett, Ashoka, Kenobi, Andor, & The Bad Batch. Completely Skip episodes 7,8, & 9. But thats just my opinion.

I was 14 when this movie released in theaters, I remember loving The Phantom Menace, and thinking Attack Of The Clones was really boring, so my expectations/knowledge going into this movie were less than zero. To make a long story short, this movie blew my stupid little mind, and no movie theater experience has matched it since. Avengers: Infinity War is a close second, but I'd say this movie left a much longer lasting impression.

I liked at the beginning of Luke's journey (when arriving on Tatooine and given to Owen and Beru) they are in front of a double sun sunrise. One of the last scenes for Luke on Tatooine (before he goes off with Ben) you see look looking at a double sun sunset.

Palpatine may have used the Dark Side powers to control and manipulate life to get the midichlorians to conceive Anakin. The dreams Anakin had about his mother and later about Padme were almost certainly caused by Palpatine. Remember when Anakin told Padme "Jedi don't have nightmares"? Also remember that Palpatine had an extraordinary ability to see into the future, so he may have seen what Anakin was going to become even before Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon met him. Palpatine was playing 5d chess the whole time (manipulating the separatists to create a droid army and invade Naboo, having ordered the clones, getting elected to the Chancellor's position, getting control over the Senate, getting more and more executive powers, starting the Clone Wars, and playing Anakin like a fiddle.

A bit of fun extra trivia. Although Palpatine was arguably holding back, Mace Windu was only able to defeat him in combat because Windu actually channels a bit of the darkside into his own unique lightsaber style. Thats also why he fights much more agressively (and angrily) than other jedi.

I did a random wookie yell in the theater opening night before the opening theme came on lol. I wasn't even really a Star Wars fan at the time (my mom's the big Star Wars fan), but I pretty much casually knew the movies at that point. I was in this weird era of randomly imitating Chewie at home at the time, and I was actually really good at it lol. So, sitting in the packed theater with my family, and it was quiet while everyone was anticipating the movie to start. For whatever reason, I just impulsively did a big wookie yell right before it came on. The whole theater erupted with laughter and clapped. I wasn't even really hyped for the movie, but that definitely made me feel good 😄... I did get into Star Wars years later though, hence why I'm here lol...

Obi-Wan told Luke that his father was the greatest pilot in the galaxy. And you'll see why he also told Luke his father is now more machine than a man. His limbs were taken off in battle and his body was burnt. So when we see him in " A New Hope " Darth Vader has robotic arms,legs and a special machine so he can breathe to live. These prequels help to put the pieces together of what we see in episodes 4,5 ,and 6.

Just remember the biggest problem that Yoda and the council had when came to Anakin was the prophecy. They main problem was their definition of BALANCE IN THE FORCE really wasn't balance... it was all light no shadow. Actuality Anakin DID fulfill the prophecy by making it 2 Sith. During Order 66, that kid who speaks to Anakin/Vader, did you look at how he looked & what he was wearing? That kid represented Anakin/Vaders childhood innocence. Regarding Padmes death & Vaders rise; remember in the opera where Palpatine was telling Anakin about Darth Plagious' ability to stop those from dying? What he didn't tell Anakin is that for one person to live, another must die. After his battle with Kenobi Anakin/Vader should've died, his injuries were that severe. Palpatine/Sidious used that ability to steal life from Padme to give it to Vader. Luckily, Palpatine/Sidious didn't know of the twins. Lastly, the prophesy of the force. Anakin/Vader did in fact fulfill it, from a certain point of view. At the end of RotS there were 2 Jedi (Kenobi & Yoda) & 2 Sith (Palpatine/Sidious & Vader).

George Lucas said he also wanted Grievous's cyborg suit to be a VINTAGE version of the cyborg technology of the MODERN Darth Vader cyborg technology. There is probably at least a 30 year, if not 40 year difference (at LEAST) between the two technologies. By contrast, you can see that cars from 40 years ago barely had airbags, crumple zones, backup cameras, or reinforced carbon fiber. Similarly, PHONES 40 years ago were just "telephones," they couldnt hook up to the internet, GPS locate, take VIDEOS, play games, do you taxes, etc.... in fact even CAMERAS 40 years ago couldnt switch between video and still pictures, that's how much tech can change in 2 generations. It probalby gets even wider different if you factor on "place of origin" or "planet of origin," in this case. Clearly Japanese cars are slightly different than say German, Italian, or American made cars despte all4 beign modern. He did this "visual passage of time," in several places in the saga, like how C3PO went from naked servomotors to shiny gold to DUSTY gold in Episode 4, to different colored limbs (Silver leg in empire, red arm in the sequels), and the Millenium Falcon with a new radar dish after losing the old one over Endor, and how the Star Destroyers look similar but NOT identical throughout the series. . Hence, we have the primitive Greivous vs the sleek Vader tech.

“Bro, this guy [Dooku] is strong!” He’s holding back. Dooku’s job in this battle is to bring Anakin closer to the Dark Side. He wasn’t trying to win, he was trying to make Ani angry. He just tossed Obi-Wan around, to be disrespectful. He talks a lot of trash. If he were serious, he could have just won the fight. He was under orders to make Ani work for it, but eventually to lose. He only looks scared when the Chancelor said to kill him. It’s interesting that Palpatine says Dooku is too powerful to let live, and Anakin kills him. But when Mace Windu has Palpatine on the ground, and he’s talking “He’s too powerful to let live…” Ani protects him. In an interview, George Lucas confirmed that Mace really was winning. Palpatine did that weird growl thing when he first attacked. That was a power that terrifies your enemy. That’s how he managed to kill three Jedi Masters so fast. Samuel L. Jackson requested in Ep2 that he get a purple lightsaber, not blue or green. George said, sure, why not? But then they had to come up with in-universe reasons for it. Your saber color is partly based on your personalities. Blue are more brawlers, green focus on non-combat powers (foresight, healing, catching energy like Yoda catches the lightning). Purple is super rare. It means you’ve a wee bit of the dark side in you. There are 7 lightsaber forms. Ani uses #5, because it’s all strength. Yoda does #3, which is all acrobatics and stuff. Obi-Wan is #4, which is all about maximum defense while using as little energy as possible. Eventually your enemy will get tired. #1 is intro stuff, though one of the three Palpatine killed was a master of it. Dooku is #2, now-on-one duals. #6 is a bit of everything. When the war started, the Jedi thought the Sith had been gone for 1000 years, so most Jedi learned #6. In the big arena scene at the end of Ep2, when a mob of Jedi run straight into the arena… they got mowed down. The vast majority of Jedi who died, died in that one battle. And then there’s #7. This is the Sith form. Darth Maul used it. Palpatine used it. Mace Windu and all his teachers could feel that he had a bit of the Dark Side in him. Once he was a Master, he got special permission to study for 7. When Sith use it, they tap into the dark side and use it to power all the jumps and flips. Mace made a special variant, that took his enemy’s dark side and used it against them. So Mace didn’t have to give in to the dark side, he could keep his own dark side at bay. He had another Master helping him invent it, and then taught it to one apprentice. Both of them eventually succumbed to the dark side entirely. Because of that, he refused to teach it to Anakin. But what it also means, Mace was the perfect one to take out Palpatine. Yoda was winning the saber fight, so Palpatine started throwing platforms at him. But it was a close fight. When Mace, by himself, took on Palpatine, he was easily winning. And George Lucas confirmed that this was NOT Palpatine pretending to lose so Anakin would save him. Sam Jackson says, “You see Mace get tossed out the window, but you never see a body. Jackson says he would LOVE to play Mace again. But since Disney bought the rights, that seems unlikely.

You have few options to go from here and neither would ruin the viewing experience: If you go in chronological order you could watch Solo: a Star Wars story next, then the Obi-Wan mini-series, followed by Rogue One, then The Mandalorian and finally the sequel Trilogy. Or you could watch in release order and see Ep 7, Rogue One, Ep 8, Solo, Ep 9, The Madalorian and finally the Obi-Wan series. If you want to stay strictly to the Skywalker saga epic and finish the story then watch Ep 7-9 next and then watch the other content after in between other movies you watch to avoid the SW overload.

In the theatres, people would cheer at the 20th Century Fox fanfare, applaud when the text, "A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away" appeared, and go absolutely insane when the Star Wars logo and the main theme began! Ahh, what great memories. I saw those 6 movies in the theatres, each so many times!! (SO MANY times, lol) 🥳🥳

Yes he was doing it for LOVE...which is a good thing...BUT he only LOVE padme...so what he does is selfish because the whole galaxy was in peril because of his LOVE. As a Jedi he supposed to LOVE all and have no attachment to anything or anyone because everyone will die and became the force. He probably asleep when he was in Jedi religion class. xD

I laughed out loud at 17:02, Cristy's humor combined with the editor's humor = chef's kiss 💋 I agree the Anakin flip was undercooked. I choose to believe Palpatine had mind control abilities, that's why he was able to hide under everyone's noses, and that's why he was able to "turn" Anakin rotten like an apple. Otherwise it doesn't actually make sense; his character is totally different after he's spontaneously renamed to Darth Vader. "The Jedi have tried to overthrow the Republic," he lies to his wife's face after killing children. And the delivery of the name change was also goofy and undercooked. I guess some things are better left to the imagination, lol! Still a fine movie.

Padme's last words "There's good in him" lived on. Her spirit and compassion passed on to Luke that eventually saved Anakin. Funny how Leia despised Vader but was infact more like her father, passionate and resolute.

Hello! Just a quick observation. I noticed that Vaders helmet is a stylized German helmet from WW2 and the caps worn on the men in the Death Star are Japanese caps also from WW2!

It amazes me how many people cannot decent that the kisses Leia gives Luke are not romantic in the way she kisses Han!!! Just a peck on the cheek and a friendly kiss on the lip to make Han jealous! On the other hand, she kisses Han like, I’m Daddy, let’s smash! Plus she told Han she loves him! But she told Luke “somehow she always known” that she was his sister! Apples and oranges!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂❤
