+Matt Trinh Getting pissed at this was really just stupid. I mean, like, really. Having said that, I did not find the attempts at humor to be amusing. They felt dry, more insulting than actually sarcastic. As someone that is a big lover of sarcasm and uses it often, I can tell you with complete honesty that sometimes (mostly when I was younger and inexperienced with comedy) a joke is just poor in execution or even in concept. Sometimes a joke, even if clearly a joke (told in person, no less) fails to amuse and instead hurts the feelings of others, or just irritates the person. To quote Bane to Joker in reference to my own reaction to her jokes: "I don't think you're very funny." As for the death threats? I hear about death threats to people all the time in many different circles, dealing with feminism, racism, game developers, business people, laborers, convicts, religions, news anchors, teenagers and much more. Death threats are always, _always_ a cowardly and morally disgusting thing to do. I am honestly too jaded by the frequency of such a thing to even be shocked that a handful of raging loons that happen to make up 0.2% of the Star Wars fanbase reacted in such a volatile way. In my opinion, neither side really has any standing. She came across as an idiot and the fans that threatened her are even more moronic. Just my two cents.
