This reminds me of that poor girl that was expelled because someone gave her a drug,she said she didn´t want it,returned it,but,since "touching a drug is drug possesion" by the school standar... The world is just crazy.A bullying victim charged for proving who and how were bullying him,a girl expelled for saying no to drugs... I don´t want to live on this planet anymore.

This is so lame. But is precisely the reason that I slammed my baseball bat into my bullies ribcage. Teachers weren't doing anything. I got in trouble for fighting back myself the first couple times after I tried to get them to do something. So I just said fuck it, figured I was screwed either way. And took an aluminum bat to his ribcage. He didn't bother me again, and he was too ashamed to tell anyone the nerdy kid kicked his ass. "Bullying is not tolerated in schools" Ha. Good joke there school faculty. Hell, half of you teachers and higher ups probably ENJOY seeing kids like the one in this article being bullied. And then you rub it in by either doing nothing or getting the bullied kid or kids in trouble. Btw, isn't wiretapping listening in on a private phone call? If so, HOW THE HELL IS THIS WIRETAPPING?

I get bullied at school by the other girls, and I got picked on endlessly on the bus, and when my mom and dad called the school to make them stop, they didn't do a single thing, when the old principal would always say "we immediately take action for bullying, this is a non-bullying school." And we see that as the lie of the century

I work with handicapped people for a living. I am also a parent. The most awful thing about this situation is that they are not that islolated. Many kids handicapped or not are bullied and teachers are unwilling or unwanting to put an end to it.This country is on the verge of collapse. These are the examples that are happening day after day but still we all sit and watch.

Apparently the charges were dropped...but I don't care. This shouldn't have happened in the first place, and the fact still remains that the principal ignored the people who bullied this kid and instead went against him. This reminds me of the story of that young boy who brought a My Little Pony backpack (if you people start an argument over this, it will only show how immature you really are) to school. Of course he was bullied for it, but instead of the school trying to make the bullies stop, they just told the boy not to bring the backpack to school. So what they are basically saying is, "It's not okay to be yourself or be different. Do what everyone else does and you won't be bullied." Well, no one should be bullied or judged for something so harmless in the first place! Teach them respect and keep their behavior in check! If they don't learn or simply refuse, then expel them! Or even put them down! We don't need these kinds of people in our society!

For those saying the kid should have fought back: If he got charged just by doing this what do you think would have happened if he had lashed back at the other dudes? I'd like to know if the kids that harassed him were a part of the valedictorians, or a sports team or something important to the school. When I was in school the students that were important by either grades or being a part of the football team were protected because the higher ups wanted them around. I strongly suggest you all email the principal because that's probably what I'm gonna do.

And your theory would be... well, let's just say photo-red generates revenue; arresting, charging, prosecuting, and tossing another juvenile in lock up does not. The $25 fine he ended up getting won't cover much, especially since it got tossed anyway. And now it's sue time, bottom to top. Out of court settlements, anyone? Any other theories?

Go ahead, we don't care what you do to special needs children? I agree with you AlphaOmegaSin, whoever thought that punishing the person for trying to prove he was bullied should be fired. It is hard enough for a bullied kid to be able to come out to the teachers and prove that they are being bullied, I WAS IN SUCH A POSITION IN PRIMARY SCHOOL!!! I have a learning disability I was put in a similar program as this kid I was bullied, harassed and mocked by the douchebags in the class I couldn't do anything, I'm not a strong, ripped guy. I'm a soft, quiet pacifist who just took the abuse. Fuck, I was even molested. This has made me livid, because I f**king know what this kid went through, and it's disgusting that he NOW has to live with a record of "wire-tapping", because he wanted to do the ONE correct thing to save himself. The judge, teacher and principle, need to be FIRED. Those bullies need to be expelled. "Zero tolerance" my goddamn ass.

Yes, most, if not all of them, seem to have been kids who were picked on and bullied by the other kids. However, I have to ask, is bullying today worse than it was in the 80's and early 90's when I was in school or are kids just not as equipped as kids in my day. I've seen bullying and it never seemed to be as bad as what I hear about now.
@nvfury13
@nvfury13 9 жыл бұрын
It's not that bullying is worse it's that the best anti-bully tool we had, those of us willing to beat the shit out of bullies, are punished more harshly than the bullies. Add that to training them to never fight back, just to tell adults, and when adults don't do anything to help it just builds until a snap.

Oh, don't get me STARTED on 'No child left behind'. The system was flawed to begin with. It assumes that EVERYONE is special, that everyone is equal, yada yada yada BULLSHIT. Everyone is good at different things. A better system would be to stop teaching everyone everything at the end of Middle School, and having High School be more specialized for particular subjects and interests. I have cousins out in Nevada who haven't learned anything new in math for over THREE YEARS because someone in their class doesn't understand something, and so they wait while that one kid tries to understand what they should have gotten AGES ago. Here's a newsflash for you, America. Motivational poster - Potential: Not everyone gets to be an astronaut when they grow up. Everyone isn't 'special'. Everyone is DIFFERENT, everyone is UNIQUE, yes, but not everyone is 'special'. Trying to teach everyone everything is *ing stupid because IT DOESN'T WORK.

On a positive note: the Charges have been dropped and there's a new law!: the Christian Law (named after the boy that was bullied). basically, it's law that allow recordings of bullies on school grounds. though, the spill of innocent blood has been laid (not literally, figuratively), i won't rest until i hear that the principal is fired for not only almost getting a kid sent to jail, but also tampering with evidence! that shit would have gotten him arrested!

You wanna know what's really fucked up about this? This is the kind of shit that causes school shootings... A person can only be harassed for so long until they finally snap. Just recently a kid brought a knife to a school and injured 20 students was it? A lot of people are labeling this child as insane (which he very well may be) but perhaps those 20 kids that were injured, harassed this child for far too long. If that's the case, those 20 injured kids deserved every ounce of pain, and the teachers that never helped should have got it too. I'm not saying being bullied justifies bringing a weapon to school. I am stating that people being bullied for too long can lead to extreme such as weapons being brought to school. ALL these problems can be seized when a teacher grows a fucking spine and stops the bullying, but until then, god bless all those being bullied, stay strong.

Jonathan Belmont I understand, and I agree with you. I definitely wasn't trying to give sympathy to school shooters. I was just making a point, when certain people are being harassed for too long, can't defend themselves and no one will help them, those people sometimes lose it. My point was, that a lot of these school shooting and what not can be avoided if the teachers / parents / law enforcement put their foot down and step in to stop the bullying.

SomethingRedundant Yeah. But would you really be able to let that director go with charging your kid? Cause I am pretty sure I wouldn't. As for the bullies - I would go to their parents and show the taping and based on their reaction decide what to do. Now I was bullied through 6th-7th grade, but it wasn't bad for me, as I was training martial arts since I was 6 years old. So I KNEW if I really had to I could beat the shit of the 3-4 people that were bullying me. The problem with martial arts is, that you are afraid to strike unless you are in life threatening situation, cause if you are against inexperienced person, since you could damage them really bad (maybe it's just me - had a accident where I spin kicked some asshole who wanted my lunch money, broke one of his tooth and he fell hitting his head, resulting in him having concussion, which in turn resulted in me being kinda afraid to hit another person). Sometimes I wish my parents signed me up for boxing, as they just teach you aggression there.....and like it or not assholes have it easier in life. Now I don't advertise violence, but I KNOW I wouldn't let it go - it's in our DNA to want revenge. If the parents didnt' take measures to punish their kids for what they have done, I would punish the parents.

***** If something like that happened to me, and every avenue for my child was used up... I'd attempt to sue the school, and then the teachers, and then the court. I would aid my effort by commissioning a bunch of 'news' sites to write a bunch of articles demonizing the school and the court. I'd commission blogs, social commentators, and mouthpieces all over the fucking web, and drum up sympathy for my kid, as well as creating hate hysteria towards the school. I'd spread them in every SJW medium there is. I'd try to create a viral social shit storm that would hang over the school, and the court like an acid rain cloud until they were shamed into helping my child. Then I would sue them again

As some one who has been bullied for 5 years in elementary school and a bit into intermediate for being fat, this is simply shocking and unsurprising. The school tells you "come to us if your being bullied", you go to them and they don't bother. If the school will not do anything then action must be taken. I remember just punching the bully in the face, a security guard saw me and took me to the principal and I got suspended for punching a student (funny thing is that it was the last day of the school year, so wooo early vacation). You fight back you'll get punished and the bully gets a slap on the wrist and a "don't do it again"

I lashed out a couple of times when I was being bullied. But as you say. You can get punished for fighting back. I never got suspended for it. I just got told off by the teacher. On one hand, if bullies are trying to inflict physical harm upon you. You sometimes have no choice but to fight back. But the bullies seem to prefer people who can't fight back as they have power over them then.

Other coworkers of mine have had similar experiences. It's all about public relations, slap a no bully sticker on the building and talk to a reporter and all of a sudden you're doing your job.

I don't know what his mental health issues are, but just going off people I know and family and etc. I can tell you that special kids are actually far more aware of the personal differences than they let on. This would be traumatic for any kid, but if he is aware of his own issues than this is going to stick with him much longer for a much bigger reason, for the rest of his life. I have friends who are good teachers & if they report bullying, some of the other teachers will have an "ugh" attitude with them. .__. I was bullied and sexually harassed in school for years. When the sexual harassment first started, nothing was done because the boys were 'just joking'. When it got worse, nothing was done at all, because they were first team rugby players and BFFs with my grade head. I eventually got some witnesses to step forward and tell them what was happening, and you know what was the result? I was called a racist by the principle, simply because the boys that were doing this all happened to be black. The principle lied to my father after lawsuits were threatened, saying that "Ooooh, everything is all hunky dory, we're going to set up an apology and everything will be a-ok!" No apology ever happened, no punishments were handed out. Also, I don't live in America, this happens everywhere. The schools that have this dumbass "No tolerance" policy is complete bullshit. I swear the real 'no tolerance' is not for no bullying, it's no tolerance for actually giving a fuck. Fuck the school systems around the world. Nowadays, it's damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Reminds me of my time in High School. I was constantly bullied and no teachers or principals would do anything (to some of their credit, some teachers tried but had no proof for the superintendent). I eventually got to my senior year and had enough when one kid kept sliding his binder down the table and messing up my friends' card game and then after doing that three times, he jumped on the table and kicked my friend in the face. Therefore I punched him square in the nose, pulled him off the table and with more strength then I thought I had, slammed him repeatedly, head first, against a wall. It just so happened that the table we sat at was off-camera, so they somehow only caught me slamming his head into the wall, so they tried to only punish me with Out of School Suspension and called my mom, thinking she'd punish me. Her reaction? 'Good, about time she defended herself, I'm taking her out for dinner' As such, I got to have a week off of school just enjoying some time to play Super Smash Bros. Melee and other such games.

Oh and for being fat, for being shy, for having curly hair, and for having a flat chest. I was even asked out as a joke. I was a nice girl, and never said anything about anyone. The most I did was try to be a friend. I never understood what kids liked about making someone miserable. (For anyone that is getting bullied, it does get better. I promise. I'm in college, I'm healthy, I have a best friend that adores me, and a family of my own. Don't let anyone make you feel worthless, because they aren't worth it. I'm going to share my personal experience. Nobody knows being the victim of bullying better than me. I was physically assaulted, SEXUALLY assaulted, berated, pushed around, tripped in the cafeteria, all because I was different. One guy even tried to kill me. I was the one that didn't want to bother anybody, nor be bothered. You know the type, the intelligent one in the back of class that doesn't pay attention with their nose in a book yet aces every test. Whenever I had to fight back, I got the worst end of the stick. When I got sexually assaulted for my femininity, I got blamed BY MY SCHOOL, after I took legal action. Before this, in p.e., students would piss on my gym clothes, break into my locker, destroy my deodorant. This whole fucking time? They had these laminated anti-bullying signs up in every fucking class.. But they were never enforced. You know what the excuse was? "Boys will be boys"

I had a case similair to this in school, but not as bad (since the police wasn't called etc.) I moved from the big city to the small countryside when I was 6-7 years old, and I was not very strong compared to the other kids, and therefore I was not very popular either... I was like, the end of the hierachy in the class. When I just moved there, they were nice to me and such. After about two years after I moved there (I'd gotten to know people and I had even gotten a best-friend, i don't want to expose his name so I'll call him R) I started to get bullied. At first only one popular kid started it, then the next one followed etc. until it was basically 10 people who were bullying me (including my best friend at the time). I had no more friends, and that group of people kept being dickheads towards me - So I went to the teacher and told her about it, who was an old lady. Now, the thing is, that the group of the bullies were well-known by the teacher, and since i lived in the countryside the bullies brothers/sisters had also gone to the same school... Nothing was being done about it, except that I was always the last person to do my presentations in class (I wonder why...). I then started participating in competetive swimming. After a year the bullying still took place, and I was so tired of it at this point that I didn't even give a shit about the bullies anymore, but then one day the most popular kid in my class threw a bag of dogshit after me while we were playing soccer/football/whatever. At that point I had enough. I took the bag of dogshit, ran towards the bully and slammed him towards the ground and then put the bag of dogshit under his shirt and jacket. Then I kicked him in the knee caps a couple of times and he started to cry, so I got up and I saw the group of bullies looking at me like: "What the fuck just happend?". When I came home I went to my parents and told them what I had done, and they were actually happy for what I did... I never knew that was the reaction I'd get from my parents. The next day I was called to the principals office, and the principal told me not to bully anyone again. I then explained what had been going on over the past few years, but the principal did not "believe" me (he knew perfectly well what was going on, he just didn't want the popular kids families to get in trouble) and I was expelled from school the next two days. When I got home I told my parents I had been expelled, and my dad got furious - I've never seen him so furious as that time... He's usually a peaceful guy who works in the garage in the afternoon fixing motorcycles. We drove to the principals house, and I remember him yelling at the principal, then the principal yelled at him saying that I was just a weak kid, and that I should be held responsible for what I did, and not for what the bullies had done. Then there was a minute of silence, and I heard my dad say (in a furious but low voice): "If you ever let the kids bullying my son get away with it again you psychopathic idiot, I'll call my motorcycle friends from the capital and tell about how you've ruined a kids life for your own reputation" Suddently the bullies was gone, but I had no friends for the following 5 years. (My dad's got motorcycle friends, but they're just peaceful guys - It was just an empty threat. The principal instantly though a biker gang when he said "motorcycle friends", but they're really just regular motorcycle enthusiasts)

Someone must have gotten paid off to do something, there's no fucking way a school could so callously ignore abuse being directed towards a special needs child and have the audacity to slap him and his family in the face with criminal offense charges unless there was some sorta bribery/blackmail bullshit involved. And that's still downright inexcusable, I don't care how much money was at stake or whatever was being held against these people, it's not worth ruining a kid's already-hard-life.

Justice was served and he didnt even know what hit him. Karma is a bitch.

This is what turns the victims into those kids who come to school with a gun and or knife. That's what bullies don't get. You pick on a human enough...your going to push them to far one time and they will end up throwing away their life to kill you. But bullies will unfortunately never go away. As long as more then 1 human is on the planet people will not always get along.

exactly. if he would have fucked the bully up they would ve lost their damn minds. but the kid did what he was "supposed" to tell an adult. he told teachers, the principal, his parents and even had evidence but what did they do? punish him. punish him for doing the right thing and being peaceful. the only thing left for him to do now is beat the bully within an inch of their life and see if somebody does something then. i want these ppl sued for every penny they have for condoning this shit. shut down the school and fire everyone involved. if this kid would have brought a weapon and killed the bully and teachers and principal involved it would have been their own fault for not doing anything. THIS is why we have violence in schools not Mortal kombat and R rated movies but stupid fucking asinine shit like this

*sigh* I was bullied a lot in Grade 7 and 8 for me having ADHD, slight autism, and severe Socialphobia, as well as being a huge fan of Nintendo, which I have been for the past 12 years. I was actually bullied to the point were I became suicidal and needed my friends on Google+ to talk me out of it, which was very difficult for them to accomplish. How do I solve my problems with bullies now? A: Tell them "God blessed you with that extra chromosome", B: Beat the fuck out of them if they don't fuck off.

I got picked on in 4th grade. Kid wouldn't stop kicking and harassing me and my friends, so, I slammed him into a fence. A. He never messed with us again B. My parents took me out to ice cream, AND told the school they were proud of me. Only way to deal with that. Like you said. The anti-bully stuff doesn't work.

That way isn't a 100% guarantee for some. What works for you does not work for everyone. Bullies usually travel in packs. So sure someone may beat up one kid, but that won't stop the other 3 from attacking him. The bully will probably be stronger. So someone get's their ass kicked anyway. Also, say it is one bully. What's stopping him from just coming back with a knife or bat and hurting them even worse? There are too many situations, too many outcomes, and too many responses for there to ever be an end all be all. You're experience doesn't represent the billions of people on this earth.

I'm not trying to speak for everyone. I was sharing my own experience.. However, though it may not work for everyone, fighting back works for a lot of people. But, what you said, with coming back with a weapon, what stops the vitims from doing that? That's more common than the bully coming back. It's usually the kids being bullied that come to school and shoot the place up. Both are bad. But not much can prevent it. If teachers and even police are ignoring it, and in this case, incriminating the victim, what are people going to do?

I am speechless after watching that and reading the article. I live in the UK, Back when me and my brother were in school. We each got bullied quite a bit. Yet the teachers did NOTHING whatsoever to help us. The bullies always managed to get away scot free. ANY teacher in ANY school who just stands by and watches someone being bullied and does nothing to help them deserve to be sacked; There is no excuse. In a lot of my classes, it seemed they purposefully separated me from my friends so I was on my own a lot of the time. The bad kids always ended up in the same classes as me. All I wanted to do was learn. And I'm sure that applies to a lot of, if not ALL victims of bullying (That's what we go to school for after all. To learn). Yet there are always disruptive bastards out there who try to make life a misery for the most vulnerable. I can only hope the staff of that school and police in this fiasco get some repercussions for doing this. Victims of bullying are supposed to be protected, NOT punished. This world is fucking mad!

Back when i was in school things were different. We got one bully from another school who was put in my class. He then decided to make my life a living hell. The first time he tried i kicked him to the ground, but he was strong too and we ended exchanging punches for a minute or so. My teacher immediately called the police. When they came I was almost beating him, but then he reached in his pocket and started swinging a knife. Well... The policeman punched him in the gut so hard, he shit himself in the pants. After that our principal expelled him from our school. The cops even commended me for acting, they said this scumbag was dangerous and could hurt someone. And by the way i live in Bulgaria.

Good to know there are some police in this world who actually have some common sense. In my school, at least during my time there. We never had anything as serious as people having knives. But even so if we was being bullied. We'd go to the office to report it. They would have us write out a statement about what happened and all they would do was stick it in a filing cabinet. Showing they don't care. I wonder if their attitude would've been different had someone been stabbed. I don't know.
@aragmarverilian8238
@aragmarverilian8238 10 жыл бұрын
Darkstar263 Yeah! The sad fact is that nowadays the cops won't be so fast, and maybe they'd react a tad different. My point is - the only way to deal with bullying is to confront it. Maybe not everyone can stand up to them in a fight, but any reaction is good. If your peers won't act, then tell someone else, tell anyone. If you let them do with you what they want, what's to stop them to do worse after nobody confronts them.

***** Heard it all before and I know you won't change your stance but. It was John Major's government that put me on a course for my dyspraxia that turned me from a 9 year old with a reading/writing age of a 3 year old into a 15 year old within a year. Twas also Major's government that gave my single parent mother a bursary so she could pursue a successful career in psychology within the NHS. Were it also not Maggy who introduced right to buy for council house tenants? And in my own mam's words(speaking with 20 odd years of experience) It was Blair's government that introduced privatisation through the backdoor and it started with the expansion of PFI contracts.(public finance initiatives for you yanks who may be wondering what these 2 Limey fools are on about.) Not forgetting trusts boards that allocate budgets to regional areas of the service and were told to run them as a business by Labour. Did I forget to mention I'm working class, from the North East of England(Middlesbrough) so that throws this "them and us) nonsense out of the window unless you want to polarise... And now for some history. Winston Churchill was Conservative and he really harmed the _whole_ world. Not. Think before you type, unlike speech. *Ya can edit it*. Now can we get back to the proper subject matter of a mentally challenged kid getting butt fucked by Da Man?
