I love the assumption that fans who hate Disney star wars are racist and toxic. There are definitely those out there. But that is not all of them. I dislike the sequels because I think they have terrible plots and are poorly thought out, NOT because "waysism." I dislike Reva not because she's black but because they wasted a character with a lot of real potential.

@@maniac7302 no it's not. The issue they had with Reva was bad writing. The actress, imo, was a victim is the sense she was given a poorly written character with bad direction. If the writing and direction she was given was better, she could've knocked it outta the ball park. The narrative that those who hated Reva were all "rAcIsTs" is just that... A narrative. And no one has a problem with diversity. They have a problem with the political baggage that political figureheads (like Matt Walsh, Vaush, Shapiro, and any spokesperson on either side) has attached to it. I guarantee you that if Reva's character was better written, and the actress given some better direction, literally NO ONE would've cared about her being a diversity hire. They would've enjoyed the character. But the bad writing, bad direction for the actress, bad writing for the show overall, and Disney's false and severe accusations against the fans who took issue with said bad writing is what started all this.
