I think it depends on what kind of look you are going for with the lightsaber. Anakin and Vader's weapons were both built solely for combat, there was really nothing fancy about them. Mace's and Palpatine's lightsabers were a symbol of status, hence the electrum on them. Dooku's lightsaber was elegant and refined, much suited to his personality, and the curve suited his fencing like fighting style.

I’d definitely agree with your comments on the pricing I just picked up that saber and feel the same as you. I also just built a Savi saber with a red crystal in it but sometimes when I ignite it the blade turns white and acts as a white kyber crystal

Hi SirJames, I'm having this stunning Mace Windu lightsaber shipped to me in the UK (Cant wait!!). Do you know if the clip wheel does work in a Covertec belt clip please? Apparently the Temple Guard legacy lightsaber wheel fits but the Ventress one does not stay in the clip, and can fall out!! I hope it fits because shipping the Disney belt clip will cost a small fortune, whereas the Covertec is relatively cheap here. Alternatively, does it look possible to unscrew the wheel and replace it with a Covertec one? Thanks

I think the reason the sound is delayed is because of the weight and it might be harder for the sensors to feel the movement

I recently went to Disney at the end of Novmeber and purchased Mace's saber. I recently noticed the other day that when I ignite the saber its purple but then in like a second it changes to a pinkish color. Then when you turn it off it goes back to purple before fully turning off. and I mean its like a obvious difference. Anyone have any ideas?
