@DarthAngelus I love the Sluis Van armada scene; it’s such an impressive strike force. I keep checking back every month, awaiting the battle for Sluis Van. I know that this is the most visually challenging scene of the entire project, especially if you want it to look the way it appeared in our mind’s eye when we first read the novel, 30+ years ago… I don’t know if you had the same visual in you head as I, when the cloaked freighter exploded and all those Tie Fighters came out of literally nowhere, but I imagined an instant, when the charges went off, that the cloaking field dropped, and the space-time around the ship appeared to briefly collapse to a pinpoint, before the shockwave of the explosion emerged from this ‘singularity’, followed by a debris field, and then an expanding spherical cloud of fighters, all weaving to avoid collision, like angry hornets boiling up from the hole in their nest. IMO, this moment should be the most bizarre-looking-and beautiful-of the film, as it is the first ‘split nucleus’, if you will, that begins the chain reaction of chaos that ultimately sweeps across the whole of the shipyard. If there’s any way we can help you, please let us know. I’ve been faithfully following this project since its inception emotion. You are the ONLY Star Wars creator in whom I still have any interest. You, like me, are a purist, and that’s what makes you an excellent storyteller. I knew you were the man to watch when I watched your first ever episode; your vision of Thrawn was MY vision of Thrawn, down to the voice and microexpressions. Unlike Disney’s sad old Thrawn, with his ale gut, puffy face, and frayed uniform collar, your Thrawn is the immaculate, fastidious, trim man he should be. Nothing out of place on his uniform, not an hair out of place on his head, lithe and nimble, but also the calm centre of any room into which he walks-a man who oozes charisma and competence-, sincere and balanced, but clever, and with just an hint of devilish wit that he shares with his closest advisors. To his subordinates, he must appear 3 metres tall and poured from molten steel: unflappable, unmoved by emotion, Stoic, a pragmatist to the core. When I first read the novel at age..9? Thrawn was all I wished and inspired to be, as what I REALLY was-a slightly sensitive and anxious lad, still trying to fit into his new surroundings after moving from Manchester, England, 2 years earlier, where I was WELL-liked, into a place where I was suddenly the target of the jokes of every child-was pathetic, and, what’s more , I KNEW it to be pathetic. Thank God, I hit puberty that same year-9 years old-and that came with a number of ‘character upgrades’. Anyroad, I digress. May the gods smile upon you and upon your creation! Namaskar, friend Angelus. 🙏🏻

I love watching the quality difference between the first episode to now. I was following this 2 years ago, and then I went back into a Legends kick and found this again, now I am gung ho about your production. Excellent work, I want to look into your original productions as well. A very fine job was done here. Wow, I have only recently been made aware of your work here on this story, and I just want to say, THANK YOU! I loved these books when I was a teenager, and I always felt like this was the stuff they should go with if they ever make sequels to ROTJ. But, sadly, they did not. I know it would be so much work, but it would be amazing if you found the time and funding for the whole trilogy and chopped it up into a miniseries. I love how faithful you are to your source material, and even though it's been decades since I've read Zahn's trilogy, I can tell most of the dialogue is lifted directly from the book. Bravo!
