Considering they want the game to last 10 years it'd be a lot easier to achieve that by having it on Xbox & PS. The only reason I don't think it's there yet is due to update fees from those platforms, so they'll see how well the game does on mobile/switch to gauge if it's worth investing it over there, as mobile games receive updates extremely frequently and that'd be pretty expensive. Once revenue plateaus or dips it's likely they'll release it over there to maximize profit and try to make the 10 year plan a reality. Hopefully it comes to Steam too

I hope it never comes there or if it does no forced crossplay please. Let Switch stay by itself. Let PS and Xbox play together and PC by itself. Forced crossplay is the worst thing to happen to modern online gaming.

@@mtt3000 I played WAY to many PC only games that unfortunately was like that, just died within weeks to even days after launch. It's sad when it happens because I would be hyped for the said game and when it dies I feel like I was cheated out my money. Console games in the past was just like that, just dies way to fast and it was a fun title. Fracture, AVP, Dark Sector, Vampire Rain, hell even MAG had just a few short fantastic years and Sony killed it. I mean I can go on if you like. Red Faction Guerrilla had a great online also. I bought it for PC and X360 and both versions died in months. AVP was the same way, bought both versions. He'll the Sniper Elite games had fun online and guess what? No one plays it at all on any game. I know what your thinking those have single player and that's what you play those for. Well you're right, but the online is very fun for those games and honestly I can name more but I'm not wasting my time with that. Just put it like this, sometimes not every game has to be multi platform. If Mario and Zelda came out on Xbox I would still play it on a Nintendo device. Hunters was first teased to come to Switch and Mobile, just let it stay there.

PC had more players but the console market is larger. Valve has less than 20billion in evaluation and Nintendo alone is over 30billion

@@HotPocketEnjoyer Also remember TONS and TONS of games will only launch on PC and first week on steam maybe 5 thousand max players. Next month maybe 300+. This game is fine on Switch. Let Nintendo have it stay there. Obviously it's on Mobile also, but I remember cannot stand the current gaming. We get games like this on Switch and if it was on every platform we would get forced crossplay against people with much better hardware not to mention facing mouse and keyboard players. It's simply just not fun or fare. This game is so much fun on Switch because basically everyone is almost on an even playing field. I know Mobile plays at 60fps.

As much as I'd love to play this on xbox, i get how some of the casual pick up and play aspects would dissappear into the more skilled competitive side. With that said, im hoping all the requests for it to be on console could bring about Hunters 2 or another Star Wars moba in the future.

Play ranked in Kyber against the top 10 players every single match… the game is already very competitive it’s actually lame it’s not on PC at least. Switch is 30FPS and no way to voice chat or message.. and mobile screens are tiny.

That should be pretty obvious. i can see why you wouldn't want cross-play, especially with PC, but there's no reasonable reason to be against at least having the game release on other consoles, maybe without crossplay but tbh i'd say the gap between Xbox and Switch is probably lower than between switch and phone. Especially since you can probably play the phone version with an xbox controller.

@@pout6038 No it's indeed obvious. But if you played games on the regular with Joy Cons vs Actual good pro controller and mouse and keyboard players you would completely understand the argument. Not that I'm arguing with you, just making a point. Like I said if it were to come out for everyone else just please let Switch and mobile play together. BTW brings me to Vigor on Switch. Switch player has constant hiccups 540p res or lower so dynamic really kicks in also like sub 20fps on top of that and really crappy and I been it's total shit gyro. DOOM Eternal is an example of how Gyro is done right on Switch. Or Splatoon 3. It's just I think the playing field should stay as even as possible. Don't get me wrong I have a PS5 PC and ROG Ally. I see benefits on other platforms. It's just when it comes to something like Nintendo Switch. Switch just doesn't compete or compare what so ever no matter how good that one Gyro player is or that one guy that says I hate Gyro who even uses it or needs it? Yes I know tons of people that actually say shit like that and wonder why they get their ass kicked royally in Splatoon. But I'm closing now, just understand where I'm coming from that's all.

I wouldn't say PS5 and Xbox players are more "hardcore" so much as edgy teenagers and early 20 somethings that think they're "too adult" for certain games. Nothing hardcore about that. It's an immature and gatekeepy attitude to have, tbh. Switch indeed has players of all types. Adults. Kids. Teens. RPG fans. Fortnite players. Lighthearted games. Serious games. Etc. PS5 and Xbox only seem to cater to the edgy teenager and young adult crowd. In fairness, that's a huge portion of gamers, but Nintendo covers that and way more.

4:58 yeah, I haven’t picked this up cause I play console. I prefer single player games cause I don’t like losing to other team. Like ea bf2 with supremacy or asssault is extra difficult at times. I understand their reasoning. I’m not a big fan personally of this game. I need to find a way to use my phone to play with a controller.

shame there's no current plans for a console release, i'd really like a fun casual star wars game and this game seems really good, but my phone is just barely outside of the "supported" ones i guess, i don't have a switch, and trying to emulate it on PC hasn't really worked well for me. hopefully they change their minds at some point. also, a star wars game that lasts a decade? that seems like exactly what we needed, something that'll be supported and has the potential to have content from new shows or movies such as new maps or cosmetics.

Nintendo's online sucks and lags while the PC version randomly freezes and has a few annoying glitches. Would be nice to see a version for Ps5 and Xbox

I’m a huge Star wars fan and gamer I’ve been waiting for this game since before Covid I play mainly on PS5 and PC but this game made me pick up another switch and a backbone I absolutely love the game and the cross progression on iOS mean I don’t have to make multiple accounts one account for switch and mobile I would say this mobile does look and play better then switch but it’s not a deal breaker switch run on mane medium and my phone runs in max settings not a bad trade off for playing it on a 75 inch TV in my book I thankfully haven’t had any lag issues on switch or my phone but i do have fiber optic internet

Tbh the game is very fun to play I actually enjoy it more than battlefront the fact it’s a star wars game than everyone can enjoy and actually works smoothly is excellent because Star Wars hasn’t had much luck in the past couple years. Yeah it’s not on console but isn’t that big a deal for me personally. I just connect my controller to my phone anyway so still has that console feel but on a smaller screen which is great for plug in play never bored at work now 😂

I agree with their design philosophy. This game is fun but light on tech and strategy. Sweats want to leave cod for the fun game just to complain and turn it into competitive cod which it isnt. Its absolutely from the ground up a silly mobile game except the major difference is it's done really well. It shouldnt be penalized for doing this it should he celebrated and enjoyed the way it is.
