Oh I've seen the war coming. I stopped watching at "Farce awakens". I stopped at D&D 4 (garbage). I can barely watch my substancial blue ray and DvD collection because it's ruined by evil little people that only think of themselves and their "identity". It's unreal to me that we've arrived at a spot where am truly apathetic about star wars. There was a time I loved this franchise so much it was borderline unhealthy. Almost anything star wars branded I'd buy. Now I don't care. I don't watch anything that comes out. I just assume it's going to be bad. I'm not sure what could get me to watch again honestly. I think it'd have to be an admission of failure, a change of leadership at lucasfilm and a decanonization of the ST before I'd even consider giving disney another cent.

Complete Apathy has set in for me As far as Star Wars is concerned that IP is a horse that has already been to "The Glue Factory" and said Glue is already in the hands of Kindergarten classes everywhere. Captain America: The Winter Soldier is one of my favourite films in the MCU, it was on TV a few months back, stopped on it for one minute then I was done. There was an advertisement for The Skeleton Crew on the side of a local bus in my city. Seemed like an odd place to be advertising a D+ Star Wars show. A public bus in an extremely medium-sized city where most people drive cars, and most bus ads are for local ambulance chaser lawyers and sport bars. Until there is a sign of actual change at Lucasfilm, where all of the nut jobs that have run its IPs into the ground are fired from their jobs including the CEO and the vice CEO, fans will not surport Lucasfilm and any of its projects as they are at the stage of "Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me!" and fans have been fooled far to many times and they are not happy, they have voiced their displeasure and Disney & Lucasfilm keep on doubling down on stupidy, so if they refuse to listen, they closed their wallets, stopped watching and given them the middle finger, if you cannot treat your customers nicely, then they have no reason to treat you nicely, what goes around comes around and fans are no longer going to bother! I was 17 when Disney purchased Lucasfilm in 2012. But all they have done since then is make more and more crap clearly not geared towards me, that in the decade since, I feel like I've aged out of it, even though it's supposedly a multi-generation show. I even struggle to come up with positive feelings for the prequels and TCW, even though I used to _love_ those. It gives me the feeling of "were these ever good? I'm a 29 year old male and I haven't found a reason to watch any Star Wars production in a few years now (same goes with M"she"U). I grew up watching the original trilogy with my dad. He took me to see revenge of the sith in theaters. Maybe these past 5 years of extremely terrible productions have made me cynical but I can't bring myself to watch any of this stuff anymore. I liked Andor but I'm afraid season 2 is going to have this woke D.I.E. pandering after the ballooned budget was recently reported.

Star wars needs reboot. Superman has been rebooted at least 5 times , Batman the same , Spiderman as well. This old Star Wars does not resonates with new 10 year olds as the characters , the picture looks old. The main thing about Star Wars is Luke vs his dad which happened so mutch in the past... I think model trains and trains in general are more popular with young people than Star Wars these days. It's as easy to avoid the grumpy Old Man down the street with his model trains as it is to avoid any Star Wars content, that I think there is way too much of anyway. Now that the show aired its final episode, I can honestly say that I enjoyed “Skeleton Crew.” It’s a shame that Disney, particularly Kathleen Kennedy’s Lucasfilm, has damaged the Star Wars franchise so severely that many people are reluctant to watch any series or movie with the Star Wars name. “Skeleton Crew” deserved better. I have been a fan since I was a 9 years old kid in 1977, so I’m not a fly by night Star Wars boy.

I grew up a Star Wars fan, (Gen-X) I watched everything and read the extended universe. I stopped seriously watching after The Force Awakens. It was such a piece of drivel that couldn't take it seriously, I have only seen bits of the second film and din't even bother with the third. The marvel Style humour they tried to inject into it, making the Empire remnant look like an Austen Powers off-shoot, the main protagonist instantaneously becoming a powerful Force Wielder, Snook coming out of absolutely nowhere to be a main villain, The main antagonist presented as a freakin' High school EMO, never mind how they completely emasculated Luke Skywalker making him into a coward hiding away in complete contrast to everything we knew his character be. Turning the Force Universe into a giant diversity party completely negates the efforts of professionals all over the world trying to integrate DEI into their professional atmospheres. DEI is supposed to be personal, where people learn to be inclusive and retrain their standards to believe that everyone deserves equity, but just shoving people of different races, ethnicity, genders and sexual orientations into a production is not conducive to those efforts, it creates consternation and erects barriers which do the complete opposite. Turning the Force into a parlour trick instead of a living breathing spiritual part of the universe that permeates everything made the universe empty and un-unique. For Star Wars to succeed they need to bring back the cohesive story telling and the plot devices that support the mystery and dark balance of that universe, don't just replicate our world with spaceships. Until Disney realise that Star Wars requires complexity and several plot lines and moments where there is no action, they will never succeed. We don't always need explosions. We don't need myriad chase scenes, we definitely don't need the consistent Marvel universe humour crap planted all over the place, we need to EXPERIENCE the world its culture and the empathy of those things.

That show was cringe Disney has no idea at giving people what they want to see. They Excel at screwing up a great expectation. That show was so boring and full of stupidity and for that stupid ending so fitting for the company.. Disney sell starwars.

I think older folks need to understand that they aren't the core demo anymore. Disney is creating content for a different audience, a smaller audience. Obviously they feel that this smaller audience has a lot of money to spend on Star Wars. Right? Also, anything that is in the pipeline is going to be aimed at this new young wealthy demo and consequently you folks are not going to like what is coming. Best to just give up on it now. No one cares.

Skeleton crew was the most Star Warsy show they have made to date. No grimdark, no angst, no trying to tie to to movies in its future or returning villains from films they havent started making yet. Just a fun adventure with space pirates set in the Star Wars galaxy. If you didnt like this or think it good, you don't like star wars and probably should just move on to something else.

Skeleton crew was very mid. I was slightly interested in the show but if it wasn’t Star Wars I wouldn’t have watched it. I don’t know if it’s apathy. If someone made a good series I think people would watch it but I have no faith in Disney to do that.

You had mechanical problems with the first sequel movie, Crash and Burn, with the second sequel movie, and the third one, Just Below to Hell. Everything after that was just throwing fuel on the fire. I did like Mando, it was good, Boba was just ok and had a need-more vibe. Ashoka, I liked it but wanted more. then came Obi-Wan, a nice show, but it just didn't connect. The scenes with Anakin and Obi-Wan were good. I enjoyed them but that was it for me. I needed more Anakin and Vader.

I keep thinking to myself that if Disney hadn't dismissed the books and comics from the 90s and had the proper direction to steer the franchise to focus on story and character development with putting together a cinematic narrative by drawing from key story points form the novels, like the MCU. Taken their time, and no streaming, Star Wars belonged on the big screen. But sadly, Star Wars is unrecognizable. I think the Disney Powers that be, had purposely dismissed the novels to repackage with their own agenda to produce a cheap remake of what was a beloved franchise into a dead parody that it is today. Friends ask me if I've watch Asoka, Acolyte or Skeleton Crew, I tell them, "nope"... I'm good with the original trilogy , some movies you just have to block out of your mind. But to each their own. :)

It just isn't Star Wars. Just member berries of much better kids films and duff recreations of some real Star Wars events. It is not good, it's just there. Mostly boring and unimportant. It won't move the needle, it's firmly stuck on dead. I don't care about The Mandalorian and Grogu or what ever Mangold thinks is original. Even though he's ripping off existing lore. The deliberate insult called The Acolyte, was the final insult.

It’s too late. Everyone thought the D+ shows have terrible pacing. They aren’t at all like the original trilogy. I sat thru Kenobi and Boba Fett and couldn’t bear to watch beyond 4 episodes each. They are so bad.

I suffered through Kenobi but did not go anywhere Bob Fett or Mando S3. I haven't watched a single SW thing since those and refuse to until SW is out of Disney's hands. I was perhaps only mildly interested in Mando and Grogu because rumours were Luke Skywalker would be involved, but I'm now hearing that's a disastrous mess as well. No thanks.
