Happy to see AMG moving the waters of the Star Wars games, hopefully they fully complete the transicion of the license very soon. The website still missing but happy about the mini releases so far.

It's good that the chat caught most of the errors. 1) In the case of shooting with a barricade between units, you should check if it covers the models. 2) Speederbikes don't need to move at the start of activation, they can do it at the end. 3) Vader only took one action, it could do the other. Throwing a saber does not cost him an action if he has previously made move action. 4) Obi-Wan should get a suppression token after saber throw. 5) Obi-Wan could jump and attack the Vader with his special rule and had the option to do one more action. 6) Wookies should receive a suppression token after shooting at them. 7) Stormtroopers should receive a suppresion token after shooting at them. 8) Stormtroopers should reroll three dice when they aim.

Yep 2D LOS check first and if the imaginary line cross cover then check physical LOS to see if minis or bases are obscured, perhaps the biggest crime was not pointing out Obi-Wan was out of cover and in range :D

56 Mins position of the 2nd speeded makes no difference to cover as cover and range is only measured from Unit Leader, the only requirement for non-leader minis in a unit is that they have to have LOS to at least one mini in the targeted unit.

If you get a crit, do you still need to roll a defense dice for it? If the defense dice succeeds, does the crit not count? Not sure if that was an error or not in that first attack at 16:35

He did that twice the teacher cheated right at the start and later on too. Don't go by this video, it's very wrong. You would think Atomic Mass would have played it correctly.

​@@TimmsyTFG From the RRG, page 16: "Roll Dice: For each hit (󲉠) and critical (󲉡) result on the attacker’s dice, the defender rolls one defense die whose color matches the defender’s defense, which is presented on the defender’s unit card." Crits ignore *cover* not *defense.*

Weird how they have more dice than comes with the core set....it's like they know you need more than what they give you....

That's unfortunate, as soon as I realized I have to re-roll 3 times for the introductory battle with 7 droids I was like - wth FFG, these are dice and should be cheap enough to add enough so you can play without having to remember all previous rolls.

I gave up, threw the game away. Never could figure out what to do when I got to "issue order" There were no "order" cards in my set. No "how to play" helped me. Not even this. Noone explains what these orders are.

The first go was wrong immediately. His stormtroopers had a critical hit so your clones could only throw one defense dice. The teacher cheated, won't be watching these videos then.

Oh my, this is unforgivable mistake for a friendly match! Totally not worth watching anymore. What the hell, people. And by the way, I hate how similar crits are to normal ones and I always have to spend a moment thinking what is what.

Crits literally do get blocked by dice saves though
