Ok, question: did you modify the electronics kit, or did it come that way? The link in the description has everything soldered onto a board.

It comes that way..and everything is soldered to the board? But they have quick disconnects.

@@TYRANTH_ Let me clarify.... in your video the kit you pull out of the box has the soundcard/battery, with the speaker, LED, switch and recharge port as separate components with quick-connect wires. The kit the link in the description shows the soundcard/battery and speaker mounted in a caddy, with the LED separate with a quick-connect wire, but the switch and recharge port soldered onto a separate board as a unit.

I’m not sure which you will get there is a version where the button and recharge port are on another pcb but everything should still have quick connects the Speaker and LED.. if you were to get the kit with the pcb for the switch and recharge port it mounts by using brass stand-offs and m3 screws.

@@TheShadowmanXL I purchased the kit linked and it came as you describe. switch and recharge port soldered to a PCB. it's therefore not possible to mount either as described in this video (ie you can't screw them into the hilt itself.) You have to use standoffs and screws so the switch and port sit 'behind' the hilt so to speak. not ideal, would have preferred the version shown here.

the link says there is an rgb soundboard kit and the rgb soundboard itself, do we have to buy both or just the kit to have everything?
