this was a good edit it looked pretty natural i did see a few little corners and lines that made the characters not fit, but overall it was hardly noticable and really good better than what id do

itsko orihara yeah it was a bit tricky to be honest as I didn't have the shots to do a perfect edit, also had to shift Han manually Jabba the Hut style to move around Luke, I guess it's OK but not perfect

How were you able to add Luke to the scene with Han? I'm assuming some sort of cut and paste technique, or chroma key (blue screen) What I can't figure out is how you've done it with no tell tale white line around him. This is Jedi master level of video editing. Compared to this I'm still a Padawan.

I had to rottoscope Luke from the Last Jedi when he enters this ship mixed with Han scene taken from Force Awakens then blended them together footage isnt perfect to be honest

@@SkyShazad Ah, so I was sort of right with the cut and paste, blue screen technique. Or green screen as the case may be. I think it they blend together nicely. Yes there are minor imperfections that are noticeable if you over analyse it. But that same can be said for even the best edited movies. If you frame advance the right part you'll notice where the fight chorography doesn't quite sync together. Or there might be an entire frame where the CGI elements are missing completely. You probably notice it more because you made it. An artist is his own worst critic after all.

Imagine how much of an a**hole you would have to be to not give this to the loyal fans who have been waiting for a moment like this since 1983. Instead they made way for 3 of the most forgettable, forced, annoying characters in cinematic history. Apparently they didn't want Luke to steal the show - that is an open admission that they knew what the viewers wanted.
