I spent months of my childhood figuring this game out. I made hand drawn maps of the Death Star (before I realized that R2 can get the maps from that room in the beginning). Finally beating it was the pinnacle of 4th grade for me. Watching someone slam through it in eleven and a half minutes is both amazing to watch but also makes me feel like I suck due to the ease at which it is done.

i didn't know you didn't have to get Han or Leia on this game. I did find a hack or a loop hole for extra lives on this game everytime you went in one of the caves on Tatooine and got a few extra lives, you could leave the cave and come back and they would respawn. I would end up with 30 extra lives and I would still not have enough to beat those TIE fighters lol

Yes, finding all the characters will have all of them in the end scene.

Empire was easier?! I could 100% Star Wars pretty easily. I could never get past all of the bounty hunters in Cloud City in Empire. I'm surprised I ever made it through Dagobah. I thought that one was much harder. Good on you for beating it.
@KSigKid Жыл бұрын
@@luke-i1w I remember how awesome turning in the Hoth and Bespin vehicle stages looked back then. I feel like there was also a health force power in the game. I had to go watch someone playing today, and wow, no clue how I ever managed to figure out how to get through some of the stages back in pre-Internet days. We were all probably just much better gamers!
@luke-i1w Жыл бұрын
@@KSigKid I LOVED the Hoth and Bespin flying levels. There for sure is a health force power. I used it all the time (and it honestly was most likely the reason I could never beat it because I was to afraid to use the actual useful force powers). Dagobah probably took me a half year to figure out. Once I did that and was rewarded with shooting down TIEs outside Cloud City, I basically gave up because that next Cloud City level was way too hard for me. I for sure was a better gamer back then. There were no distractions! Now I've got a wife and these darn kids that take up all my time!! But my 5 year old is starting to play Super Mario Brothers. He beat stage 1-1 yesterday. I'm so proud!
