Honestly, the main problem with the Rey trilogy is the whole "somehow Palpatine returned" thing rather than playing up Snoke, and how they did Luke dirty. Kylo Ren's character wasn't that bad since they weren't exactly going for a second Darth Vader; they deliberately made him out as a wannabe inspired by Vader. They also made a point of showing that he was still basically an angsty teenager as opposed to a fully grown man, and conflicted, and more ambiguous of a villain. He was never intended to have the same effect Vader did.

Well said and the truth …….up through the 90’s shows matched the actual demographic populations quite well . 13% of the population being black meant 2 in 10 characters were black and that’s how most tv shows were set up . But shows that were set in mostly black scenarios were just that….mostly black characters. And yes there were many stand out black stars who did great. Today they are just setting shows and movies up on the vengeance of radical woke types that overload shows to the point of being unrealistic in their portrayals. Of course they don’t care . Honestly, only show where I got excited about the ethnicity of the cast that I can really think about was the new avatar the last air bender, and that was purely because the different nations were specifically based off different cultures, so it was cool to watch them model the cast off that. But like the new percy Jackson TV show for example? Percy is blonde instead of having black hair, Annabeth is black instead of white, Luke has black hair instead of being blonde, Zeus is black, Hermes is Hispanic, Hades is white.... no one cares. A few people did when they announced the cast, but when the show came out the fans saw they just casted the best fit for each character and the show did fantastic, and that's Disney.
