Star Wars Obi-Wan | Red Review

Didn't put in a full "in the red corner" intro montage since it wouldn't feel right if it didn't use Star Wars music, and I obviously can't use that. Recently been playing this hidden gem again on an emulator, and I knew I just had to come back to this great review. Even to this day, Obi Wan on Xbox is my favorite Star Wars game. 🔥 Criminally underrated.

I played this as a kid and even then I knew it wasn't good but still loved it, despite his terrible accent. It's like the creators had never seen TPM but know Ewan MacGregor is Scottish so got the world's worse voice actor to do what was supposed to be a Scottish accent.

Fun fact: if you throw your lightsaber into the Jedi council watching at the end of the training level, you can move them around and even kill them

This is one of my favorite star wars games. It came out when I was around 10 years old and I played it for years. Still one of my favorite lightsaber based star wars games. There's nothing like it. I just wish there was more of tatooine with Anakin in it, and I always wanted to play as Qui-Gon as well. I didn't know the "counter" works on melee as well, and I had no clue about the charge up force attack that drains your force. I actually really liked fighting battle droids, rather than the jin-ha. It felt like I was a jedi in the movies fighting them, and the jin-ha were much harder, plus not iconic characters.

Love this video. Grew up playing this and just got it again. Looking for a Xbox condole rn. Thank you for this amazing video!!! Also the voice of eeth koth and mace windu is Kevin Michael Richardson. He voiced jolee bindo in kotor, is a earth bender is avatar, and he worked on many other things too! I love the voice actor. I think he’s a good mace cause jolee is an amazing character.

I remember playing this as a little kid and thinking it was so cool, it was definitely rough- but 3D stuff was still early on, Especially for Star Wars. And we never really got to see anything like it for a long time. Star wars pretty much skipped the 7th console generation after tons of unique interesting experiences for the prior two generations. Force Unleashed was more of a beat-em-up while this channeled stronger RPG vibes

I thoroughly enjoyed this hour nostalgic trip. I learned so much and feel so happy remembering this game. I totally forgot about the battle royale and Can’t wait to play it again. I hope I can get my girlfriend to do the 1v1 game mode as well.

As always great stuff. Not to knowledgeable on Star Wars nor ever got to into it, but the combat in this game seems pretty enjoyable as a whole, I can appreciate some of the "rough" aspects of this game to. I get what you mean by simply free roaming a specific area/level/or hub in a game just exploring and doing random crap.

Nintendo Mario 3 (the one where u select worlds enter places etc) , N64 Ocarina mario 64, and Gauntlet. Ps1 Yu gi oh forbiden memories, ps2 champions of norath, Xbox kotor Fable, and DnD Heroes, Game cube paper mario ttyd, and pokemon colosuium. after xbox i sorta focused pc and 360.. But yeah the first things you think of is the most you played or enjoyed... (or raged at because how dare i not know a word and max level on fuzzys in ttyd..)

I'm 27 and I played the crap out of this game when I was a kid. A year ago I realized I lost my original childhood copy so I went out and bought a new copy for $10 and I played through the whole game again. This game is objectively kinda mediocre, but it's the best mediocre time I've ever had with a game. I spent countless hours just messing around in every level that I legitimately get shocked whenever I see or hear something about the game that I never knew before.

I don't know why you felt the need to post this here as well, but that was a joke about how Microsoft, specifically during the 360, wasn't known for it's exclusive IPs. It wasn't meant to be taken seriously. Also, no Nintendo doesn't just make the same game over and over again, making a new game in a series, is not the same game as the previous ones in the series.

It didn’t seem like a joke since you talked about petential 3. The first donkey Kong came out in atari (the first ever Nintendo console) and they still made the same games for this. The first Mario game came out in nes (the second Nintendo console) and they still made new games with it. The first Metroid game probably came out in atari or ness (a bit lazy to research) and they still made new games with it. The first Zelda game came out in nes (I know you don’t like this franchise. But I’m still gonna bring this to the argument) and they still make new games with it. The first Pokémon game came out in gameboy (I don’t know why this is the most popular game from Nintendo. It’s the most boring game ever made. And they still have the same story since gen 1) and they still make new games with it. The first Super smash bros game came out in Nintendo 64. And they still make new games with it. The first kirby game came out in 3ds or gb. And they still make new games with it. The first yoshi game came out in snes. And they still make new games with it. The first captain falcon game came out in snes. And they still make new games with it. The first star fox game came out in snes. And they still make new games with it. The first Mario kart game came out in snes. And they still make new games with it. Even your favorite trash game (Luigi’s manision) has been the same. @@TheRedGuy also the first reveal for super smash bros melee was fales. They showed the main antagonist from Metroid (forgot the name) but we didn’t get to play him. They also showed all Pokémon characters. But in the game we only able to play 3 Pokémon characters (they didn’t showed one of them. also I’m sure pikachu and jigglypuff is the most popular Pokémon character. Because of their cuteness) and people (including you) are still okay with the fake advertising

@@itsvina9256 Dude, you REALLY don't know what you're talking about. So first off, Atari is a different company with their own consoles, they are not Nintendo. The NES was the first Nintendo console, just because a few Nintendo games came out on Atari systems, doesn't mean those were Nintendo systems. Aside from you just not knowing what systems games came out on, you did not contradict what I said at all. Nintendo making sequels to their franchises is NOT them making the same game over and over again. Is Halo 2 the same game as Halo 1? No it isn't, and so Metroid Dread is not the same as Metroid on NES. Yes they do continue making more games of long established franchises, but they are making NEW games with them. Zelda has changed SIGNIFICANTLY since it's first game, are you really going to tell me that Breath of the Wild is the same as Zelda on NES? And no the Luigi's Mansion games are not all the same, if you had bothered to play, or hell even LOOK at them you'd see how different they are from each other. Also, no they are now still making F Zero games, the last one was in 2004. And they most certainly are NOT making more Ice Climber games, what the hell are you talking about? I have a feeling you don't apply this same standard for Microsoft, do you think all the Halo games are the same? Is Halo Infinite the same as Halo 1? If you don't think so, then you're a hypocrite. Also Pokemon is not Nintendo, they do not own Pokemon, the Pokemon Company does, so anything with that franchise is not Nintendo's doing. And as for the Melee reveal, it's just an animated intro showing off the different franchises represented in the game, there was nothing saying Ridley was playable, so it was not false advertisement. And did you really think ALL those Pokemon would be playable?

Since it doesn’t matter playing them at teen or adult) also I do know what systems games come out on. But I thought it would be pointless to say how long they came out. Are you blind?, yes making sequels is like making the same. And I’m more of a PlayStation fan then a Xbox fan. I’m still a Xbox fan not much as PlayStation (believe it or not. I don’t care) only few Metroid games are different. The rest plays like the first Metroid game. Only difference is the secrets they hidden. “They are making NEW games with them” lol what does that mean? also it’s a good you admit that Mario kart. And if Ridley wasn’t said about being playable. Why include him in the intro?, Every fighting game has an intro that we able to play them (like tekken.
