The day I stopped caring about the legions of hivemind drones who hate on this game because it’s Ubisoft was the best day. I’m so excited. Also, who made Jedi Survivor? Respawn. Who produced Jedi Survivor? EA. Does no one remember the absolute bonkers EA scandle with Battlefront? Yet they produced Jedi Survivor, one of the best Star Wars games in YEARS. My point is that Ubisoft producing this through Massive in association with Lucasfilm. JUST LIKE JEDI SURVIVOR. I can not wait.

I wish we got more of these space epic games outside of Star Wars. The original Mass Effect trilogy was freaking amazing. Nothing else like it has come around since. The closest for me was Cyberpunk.

There are actually a decent amount of strategy that are hard to find for this game's stealth part,sincd its a major part of the game: 1)You can shoot out the cameras using your pistol's ion module without having to be spotted; 2)Some mission will fail immediately if the alarm was triggered which feels like forced stealth mission,yet there are some smart ways to go around it; 3)You can break tkhe alarm panel using the ion module of your pistol or using nix. Regular enemies like stormtrooper or gang members can only trigger alarm using these panels; 4)Officers can trigger the alarm at anywhere, probably using their own comms; 5)So there is a solid strategy you can use in these missions:take out the officers in silent, shoot the cameras with ion module to disable them and breaking the panels in silence before you start a blaster conflict.That's actually quite a smart way to combine stealth and battles, but they didn't wrote it anywhere in the game so you will have to discover it on your own. Sadly most people didn't find out these highlights in the machanism, and the game just feels bad without them.

@@jogasinghkhalsa5526 yea if you close the distance with an enemy during a shootout you can melee them. Couple of times got caught up close while trying to stealth knockout, enemy was fully alerted but I still knocked them out before they could alert anyone or get a loud shot off.

I think Ubisoft has a HUGE missed opportunity in not giving this a GTA V-style online mode. The ability to customize your own speeder/starship, create your own character to take on bounties with friends, etc. I think that would push the needle for a lot of people who are on the fence about buying this game.

Despite the flaws-it’s one of if not the most immersive StarWars experience I’ve had in years. JediFo/Srvvr were close. It really does feel lived in but most importantly you do feel like part of the world. The day and night cycles, weather and population density are really well done. Again, despite its flaws-and especially if you’re a SW fan id say it’s worth it-even more so on sale.

Got the game and have enjoyed it so far. My biggest issues is the lack of usability in the world. It really was a missed opportunity to not able to ride any ships/speeders/animals we see. Not being able to have a secondary weapon. More GTA (kid friendly of course). But be able to knock people off their speeders and get chased by the empire or something like that. Would’ve brought more life to this game. Of course this is just one issue I have with it.

I don’t know, by now I have watched many reactions and reviews most of which were payed by Ubisoft and Disney either directly or indirectly anyhow i’m still not convinced. This are the reasons: 1. They call it open world but you are closed in a quite blocked sysem: - you can’t design your own characters (character build and customisation) - you cant have your stock of weapons - the game choose how you have to play (stealth/full in/ sniper/kill all) its a damn game about outlaws let me be one! 2. Major Lore content is only available through deluxe editions. And before the game even landed on the shelf a full timeline with payed content is published and. 3. Most content creators were payed off and the content they published was heavily censored.

Lore content behind pay wall? What do you mean by that? DLCs are expansion on the story, you don’t have to play them tho - they are optional. All you need to finish Kay’s story is in the main storyline, hope this helps ❤

A fine-tuned "open world" Star Wars game sounds like a fine pallet-cleanser. I'll definitely pick it up, but I suspect I'll pour some time into it when I decide to take a break from Space Marine 2. Suffice to say, it's more important to purge the xenos and burn the heretics than it is to fulfill several dozen fetch-quests for various rival factions... Between games like Space Marine 2 and Wu Long Fallen Dynasty, Outlaws is going to have its hands full cultivating a generous following of die-hard single-player gamers.

I’ve been consuming content on this game ever since it was announced, and this is by far one of the most thorough and thoughtful breakdowns! As a huge Star Wars fan, I’m sure I’ll pick it up eventually. I’ll maybe wait it out a month or two after release for the inevitable PC performance patches and bug fixing and hope for a sale as well! 16:25 There may yet be hope, at least partially, for that. On the graphic for the Ultimate Edition (3:03 in this video), one of the Season Pass items is a Mandalorian-themed cosmetic pack. It probably won't include a helmet for Kay, but we could get armor. EDIT: I just thought about something after typing that last sentence... There are no helmets or head items for Kay, but in several of the cosmetic packs, Nix/Nyx is shown with some different headgear. Imagine him/her/it with a little tiny Mando helmet on! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I'm mostly looking forward to the unnecessary platforming! That's always fun!!! I'm looking at you Jedi Fallen and Jedi Survivor! I'm also looking forward to not having any type of quick save feature. That's always a blast, especially if the last save check point is more than over 1 hour! Think I'll wait for the deep sale on this one. I wanted to like Jedi Fallen and Survivor but the platforming and some of the puzzles were most unpleasant. Add to that no ability to manually save, yeah I think I'll wait this one out.

I feel like the people who made this game really wanted to make a splinter cell game. It’s kind of cheesy, but the stealth is really hard. Besides everything else you can do in the game. I bought it because there’s repelling there’s not a lot of games with repelling in it and special ops the line doesn’t count. I tried to cheat the game. The manual saving is turned off sometimes so you can’t just like find a good spot to save and then screw up and reload so you have to start over from a larger point back.

SPOILER WARNING; In True Vanguard’s review his biggest problem with the game is that he claimed that no matter which syndicate you pick, you will be forced to betray them for the main campaign story. I’m a fan of what I’ve seen of the game so far, Massive are Maestros of beautiful, detailed worlds and I don’t need to hate to feel clever (I’m too stupid to ever feel clever) but this claim by TV sounds like a very poor story element that if correct, might truly suck ass especially if you’ve enjoyed building your reputation.

Nothing wrong with Single Player. Not everything has to have forced MP to be successful. However I will agree this won’t do that well, purely because of decisions made by Ubisoft. Sadly the days of long Epic single players are over, purely because producers want the quick easy buck these days. We are unlikely to see the likes of Skyrim or RDR2 again.

@cowboy10uk It's a massive missed opportunity to not have a multiplayer aspect within the game. It doesn't have to interfere with the SP aspect. There can be two separate parts like Red Dead Redemption and Red Dead Redemption online or GtaV and Gta Online. That formula works and is very successful. For the first ever true open world star wars game its a massive missed opportunity, and it would appease both those who would want to play it in single player or mulitplayer.

I think the only reason why we arent getting star wars games where you can create your own character is because every star wars game is being made as connon with the entire franchise. So this main character is going to be soneone who has existed along side our heroes. You cant have a custom character in a specific story if everyone's character is different 😂

Are you able to jump freely in the game and how is the responsiveness in combat? I absolutely hate the AC games where combat is slow and clunky and you can only jump in specific spots.

I never enjoyed a Star Wars movie but I've enjoyed every Star Wars video game that I've played. The stealth and melee animations make me sad, but outside of that, I'm looking forward to it.
