I think a lot of Star Wars fans (myself included) are both excited but nervous for this game. Excited because this game does look great and is offering something we have been wanting for a long time in a Star Wars game. But also nervous because this is Ubisoft who haven’t had the best track record in recent years and what this game is offering is setting the bar really high.

As a starwars fan. This looks fun. but i honestly rather wait and pick up the game for 10$ in a year or two then pay 80$ or more for this. People need to understand that the gaming companies are testing limits once again. They are trying more and more to find out how much they can get us to pay for less. Ubisoft is in the forefront of this. And even if this looks cool and awesome and you bet your ass you be having fun with this. Look to the future.. And try to remember what a tiny little horse armor DLC did and how it changes gaming forever and for the worse. the excuses people made then. The promsies that where broken and the assurance that where made up.

And for sure no one got the right to tell you or anyone else what is fun or how to enjoy something. if you wana pour ketchup in your whiskey or eat your Pancakes with toothpaste then that is 100% your choice and no one can really fault your for it. But more options is not always better. The more focuse they need to make to add an online or coop or pvp or whatever multiplayer mode? The less focuse they have to make the singleplayer better. Its all time vs work vs avaible hours until release date. And i rather if the goal is singleplayer that they 100% commit to it then add an half ass tacked on multiplayer that doesnt do much to add or prolonge the experience itself. There's a reason the scariest Resident evil games are the non coop once. Or why dead space 2 was 1000x times more tense then dead space 3? not just in direction but cause as soon as your not alone. The horror goes out the window very fast and it's a whole diffrent experience that need to be tweeked and designed around itself to work. If it was to be an actual coop multiplayer? then i would love that to been the plan from the start and the entire focuse of the game. I rather had a game you need to play coop that you cant play solo that 100% allows you and a friend to experience the entire game and world togheter but with a designe and choice to be such a game from the start.

At first I thought this game wasn't going to respect what I know about Star Wars specially OG games when we had Factor 5 developing it. But watching that play it a bit here changed my mind. I hope its not just bullshot (which is common from Ubisoft) After Disney now Ubisoft I had my doubts but I feel SW more in Outlaws than even on Survivor.

I love the overheat/reload mechanic! Like Battlefront. Only the stealth gameplay seems a little tagged on. Cover not really fitting into the environment placed in convenient locations gives it a very artificial look.

This is basically Jedi: Fallen Order/Survivor but you aren't a Jedi. Its probably going to be a fun game. I just wish we were getting a Star Wars RPG. Something with more player choices. I know Kotor Remake and Eclipse will likely scratch that itch but they are so far away at this point.

The stealth feel Ike a mandatory addition not a fleshed out one, the stealth is an mj insomniac spidey levels of off, the takedowns are ridiculous (punching a helmet ?? ) they could’ve given her a metal gauntlet or arm . The combat is not bad but so uninteresting, i wish for it to have more speed to it. The environments looks gorgeous. The syndicate type system seems super interesting, i like the speed bike but I wish for it to be faster, the game looks solid , all the problems I stated I had aren’t too much of a big deal except the combat Noo they have to improve weapon variety and speed and maybe enemy type

If they’re gonna focus on immersion the least they could do is shake up the camera a little bit like seriously it looks so boring and bland when she’s in fights. Make her a little bit faster and make the camera wobble a little more intense when under fire. She shouldn’t be some tank that can take loads of damage she should be a more stealthy and faster paced character.
