Although in some scenes the view switches to third person, I think the following: I don't prefer to see Indiana... I prefer to BE Indiana. And most importantly: the game is being developed by a studio that already has a history of excellent games in this style, so at least FOR ME, it's a sure bet. Anxious.

​@@leandro6234 If i was ever going to get into video game development it would definitely be with animations and destructibility. Destructible environments and things like moving pebbles as you walk are things that really add to realism aside from just the quality of the assets. Thats even more true with character faces. Its all those minor movements in the skin and whatnot that make a character look real (that games never have despite attempting to immitate that its never anywhere near enough movements). Quality of assets have gotten so good theres not much more to work on there. Its the animations that need a lot more work.

A lot of people will complain about how good these games look now. Back in the day all we wanted was better graphics a good story and good gameplay. Now that we have the good graphics doesn't necessarily mean we have the good gameplay.

It's not about the graphics, it's just cause everyone tries to make a history or mistry or magics in an atmospheric ambient psychedelic like environment. So you will see good graphic but not stunning quates or dialogues or memorable emotional or action thrilling cutscenes through the game, which gives and would the game good narrative and emotion and living _ instead dead like_ surrounding the games gameplay in past two last decades. And don't forget microtransaction and menue or ui designs getting worse for example in new football franchises game and...

Today's games skin detail is same as real life but lighting is just one step ahead from real life lighting because real life lighting could take lot of budget and also it's not necessary too. So because Today's generation games lighting is just one step ahead, I don't think there's any real improvements in next gen graphics unless they wanna use complete real life lighting like movies. Also in this list I'm seeing some titles like same as today's graphics games or some even little less than today's graphics games specially like last of us games graphics and resident evil remakes graphics.

There is the camera system tech than can map real people in costumes and create a 99.9 percent, realistic 3D model of them on the fly. I remember coming across articles on that tech and seeing what it can do years ago but at the time, the tech was way too expensive for most companies. I wonder if that tech has because a corner stone now for future games... If so, visuals will be pushed to the max but prices for games and consoles will be sky high because of the tech cost. When will "Devs" learn... Graphics may make a game appealing but graphics do not make a good game. If such tech is into play now, expect single game prices to reach 100+ dollars for one game (or base game).

Dear Black State devs.....the dust cover on AR platform rifles is only closed for transport and storage, once the bolt carrier is racked the first time it then stays open for shell ejection. Watching it flap about while the rifle cycles is comical.....and please tell me the minigun doesn't spool up like every other hollywood/game rotary cannon depiction.

Cutscenes don't count. Even in-engine cutscenes. The ones that are not cutscenes I am not impressed. Improved textures alone do not improve realism. They need to improve their animation. Use Horizon Zero Dawn and Assassin's Creed as a standard to go by.

1st game, Crysis, but in space! And with that innovative new gameplay mechanic I keep seeing, shoot everything. 2nd game, Matrix doors/corridors, and with innovative new gameplay, shoot or stab everything, especially the half-blind soliders, using the aid of Max Payne's bullet time. Innovative! 3rd game, likely the worst parts of films and games mixed together. Follow the story explicitly with the interaction level of a dead cat. 4th game, in the land of the dead... dead bored watching this preview? 5th game, two soldiers fall in love in a warzone, the interactive film game? With innovative shooting everything gameplay? 6th game, deaf-blind employer gets "infiltrated" by sneaky Snake, who is clearly leaving no trace of their presence. All the exciting parts where you cover footprints and bury bodies is skipped in favour of latest innovative gameplay technique, shooting everything. 7th game, innovative game using guns to achieve your goals, with deaf-blind enemies to cause you problems along th , as well as deaf-blind drones. God forbid anyone thinking of doing nasty things in game worlds uses a dog. They'd have to be deaf-blind-noseless dogs, but at least that'd be innovative. 25 years since Half-Life was released, and all the AI innovations 25 years has (should have) brought, and we get this? Shooting fish in a barrel. 8th game. Whooa, look at the innovative gameplay here. It's like Crysis 2 reskinned, and if you feel like you don't get what's going on you get a convenient narrator and internalised voice to remind you. And they've even introduced guns to freshen it all up. 9th game. Looks good. Genuinely innovative whip and hammer use. I wonder if this required a few billion quid in game R&D to achieve? Maybe they didn't want to alienate gamers too much with such new gameplay ideas and so kept a few guns in there. I wonder how many times the camera floats away from Indy and shows you a cut-scene, after which you press A to continue. 10th game. Can't really tell here, but they'd be stupid if they hadn't gone with innovative shooting/stabbing/killing to embrace the latest thinking in gaming mechanics. All that aside, are any of these games really open world? They all look like they're on pretty rigid rails to me.
