powerhouse extreme I know Bly was jealous because if Fisto, as he loved Aayla too. Though, as time and the war progressed, and they both naturally had to spend time together as a General and a Commander, albeit in battle or R and R, they became close. The chips in the clones were so powerful, that Bly still executed order 666, but like many other clones, regretted it soon after. His regret was a bit higher than others, because of his connection with her.

The teeth part of your description could also be by choice. As we humans are a species who have different distinct cultural lifestyles, so could the species of many other sentient beings. So maybe these Twi'leks with sharp teeth could just have filed and grinded their teeth to make them sharp out of some different lifestyle choice or belief system.

In Legends it's said to be impossible. In the new canon however, yes. In the TCW a Twi'lek woman is shown to have crossbreed children. (However these are not the children of the clone deserter, since the children are too old for that. They would have been born before the clones were ever deployed. I'm pretty sure this was addressed in TCW character encyclopedia or another such reference book).

Just one pointer... The Twi'Lek languages are Ryl, which is mostly spoken, but also functions by use of lekku movement, and the "sign language" known as "Lekku", which consists entirely of movements of the lekku.. Other than that, good video :)

/pat no worries. She's one of my favorite Characters in Rebels. I actually like that they have strong mother father character's in that show; Something that's quite rare in entertainment today. They don't diminish Hera or Kanan in anyway, both are respected leaders of that family. It's an awesome moment in television I think.

I read that in twilek culture they are born with sharp k-9's, but the men would file the rest of their teeth sharp as well. The women sometimes did this too, but if taken as slaves the "owners" would get Twileks teeth filed down so not to scare away customers. But they all are born with K-9's. (picture vampire teeth)

The difference in their teeth was supposedly because many of them had their fangs ground flat to resemble the teeth of other races in order to fit in better. The cone ears that many females had were not universal, some females had normal human shaped ears at least some of the females who were previously cannon. My belief is that it was a cosmetic surgery based on old Twi'lek customs that made them seem exotic to other races. I figure it was somewhat like the custom of girls getting their ears pierced. Originally it was designed to limit their hearing so girls wouldn't listen in on conversations they weren't supposed to and be coerced into telling secrets they shouldn't have known.

These videos have made me interested in the Star Wars EU. Where should I begin, or any recommendations if the order doesn't matter?

+austbot You really could begin just about anywhere! For novels, I would suggest Darth Plagueis, Labyrinth of Evil, Shatterpoint, the New Jedi Order series, and the Legacy of the Force Series, to name a few. For comics, I would start with Star Wars Republic, Legacy, Dark Empire I, Dark Empire II, Jedi Council Acts of War, or really just about anywhere else. The comics are especially easy to hop into. For t.v. series, you can watch the 2003 Clone Wars in it's entirety here on KZbin. If you haven't seen it, I would highly recommend it, as it is a personal favorite of mine and is action packed. If you need anymore suggestions let me know, if you are interested in a specific era or character I could give you some more specific sources

austbot No problem at all! Darth Plagueis is a phenomenal novel. Plagueis was the former master of Darth Sidious, there is a scene in episode 3 where Palpatine talks about him to Anakin. If you want to start from the very beginning of the Star Wars mythos into the very beginnings of the Jedi, read the "Star Wars: Dawn of the Jedi" comics. It is the very earliest events in the EU, as well as the creation of the Jedi

from my understanding twi'leks were probably decedents of humans used in rakata experiments same withe a few other species like zabrak since even though they come from different planets they are apparently natural capable of having offspring which i would say indicates that they are decedent from humans or share a common ancestor as them though i think humans were a naturally occurring species unlike twilek and other species created from rakata experimentation

We're Twi'leks capable of producing offspring with other humanoids? I remember an episode of TCW where a clone was living as a farmer with a Twi'lek and her children who addressed him as father, but it was never made clear if he was their biological father.

+whollyhandgrenade13 from my understanding humans and twileks were compatible though would result most likely in a hybrid offspring instead of a pure twi'lek or human. my guess for the reason this is because of humans being one of the most common species used in rakata experiments which led many sub species of humans such as twi'lek who being quite clsoely related were still compatible sort of like homo sapiens and Neanderthals
