I love that they got Katee Sackhoff to portray her here on this show. Love the team up of Mando with Bo Katan and her team during the last half of the episode. The most seamless transition of a character from the animated medium to live-action imho. It's a shame the reaction live-action Bo Katann got from a certain group of "fans", cries of "oh look, a woman being a better Mandalorian than 'The Mandalorian'" etc ... Basically small-minded people who struggle with the art of storytelling and/or are unaware of the shows we'd already had or outright ignore them (so not real fans if the latter).

Good episode. I gotta say, I admire the Empire's policy of going down with the ship and loyalty 'till death. Better to go out with honour than as a Coward or a Traitor, in my opinion. Sure their Cause was morally wrong, but I admire the sentiment.

tara, the guys who threw him into the ships' bowells were Squidheads, one was in Return of the Jedi in Jabba's palace, if you collected the action figures in 1983, he was one of the figures. they were also in one of the shorts in the 2003 cartoon, Star Wars the Clone Wars pts 1 and 2, both now on Disney plus, they came out in 2003 in between Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith movies, and showed you what happened in the CLone Wars and what ani and padme went through before the next movie

6:26 - That actor is Titus Welliver. Among other things he played S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Felix Blake in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including the spin-off TV series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. He's actually one of two MCA/AoS actors in this episode, the other one being Simon Kassianides, who is playing the Mandalorian Axe Woves here. Kassianides played Hydra agent Sunil Bakshi in AoS.

One of the things that I really like about this series is how fleshed out all the characters' motives are. Bo Katan wants the Darksaber because ultimately she wants to unite (and rule) the Mandalorians. Moff Gideon wants to find the child (for reasons we can only assume at this point). Din Djardin wants to find Asohka (and ultimately someone to deliver the child to). And we'll surely learn what Asohka is up to and what she wants. Frog lady just wants to get to husband and raise little frog babies. Even Kuill who seemed to want the least just really wanted everyone to leave his retirement valley. While the characters serve the plot, they don't exist in this universe solely for that purpose.

"Don't play with your food." - Mando **Later on with The Frogs Baby Yoda proceeds to rebel against this request and continue to play with his "food" and not eat it until just the moment Mando comes back to pick him up from the babysitters. Right before he is about to swallow it whole though, he is escorted away much to his protest** "Wait dad! I didn't get to eat it yet!"

I do want to know why people are so quick to forgive Bo-Katan. She is one of if not only surviving reason for Mandalor’s fall. To siding against the True Mandalorians in the last civil war, plotting to murder her own sister to usurp the throne, aiding Pre Vizsla and by extension Maul to enslave her own people. To being the sole reason why republic troops were sent to Mandalore. She’s the reason for why Empire came there in the first place. And we all seen how well that worked out.

I never got the impression that she wanted to murder Satine, just to remove her from power and lock her up. Her and Pre never thought Maul would best them and thought they would be ready to kill them after they played their part as the scapegoat in how Pre thought his plan would go down to retake Mandalore. As far as I remember Pre and Bo never had any plans to enslave their people, but to make the planet go back to it's old warrior and non-pacifist ways.

@@YodatheHobbit That sinister grin she gave when Pre Viszla told her his plans seemed like a dead giveaway. Don’t forget she was on his side since before the show. Not to mention all those Terrorist attacks deathwatch committed against a Mandalorian government. Who do you think gave them all the Intel they needed to infiltrate those places? And do you really think that it’s going to stop with the military dictatorship if Pre Won his duel against Maul? It’s pretty obvious to everyone that it’s a DandD if you do damned if you don’t take situation for the Mandalorian all because Bo didn’t put a freaking blaster bolt in between Maul’s eyes when she had the chance. And look what happened not 10 years later Mandalore is under a military dictatorship with a puppet in charge. All because she invited the Republic into a fight she couldn’t win. Yeah, her motives were never altruistic.

Bo Katan is one of my favorite characters in Star Wars. Glad they modeled the animated version after her voice actor so it was a seamless transition for her to play her in live action.
