I love how the armies are different, not like a chess game where it's a fight between equal armies, each has different numbers & styles of pieces. Very cool for replay value.

Yes. There are additional rules for a 4 player game, but it is essentially 2 players on each side and one player controls the ground troops and the other the space troops Honestly, it isn't very good as a 4 player game. It is very much a 2 player game at its core.

This game it would be so much better if it let you have other characters be Jedi, like let say Leia. Or tunr Darth Vader to the light side. Like a make you own story type. But anyways this game is fantastic.

Batfreak11 you can actually turn almost anybody into a Jedi. But it’s special if you do it to Luke.

Does each side only ever recruit 5 leaders during the game?

Used to be that you could have more leaders than your opponent, but the expansion makes the max total 8 heroes. (Since you start with 4 heroes + newly recruited ones.) I recommend the expansion because it makes combat ALOT better.

I love this game, I just really wish the combat was better. Everything grinds to a halt and gets messy (and not in a fun way) whenever you are doing combat. Smaller scale fights are fine enough, but a sizeable confrontation that can turn the tide of the game shouldn't be this dull. Otherwise the game is fantastic.

Once you get quite a few games under your belt, I notice they go by much more quickly. I even look forward to them, as the Empire, crushing those wimpy rebels is fun, and as the rebellion, initiating daring conflicts as means to get more and more objectives is exciting. The limit of 10 dice max simplifies larger combats enough to make them go by quickly enough.

Eldritch Horror is enjoyable solo.

A big part of this game is that the Empire can't know where the Rebel base is. So, this isn't a good game for solo play because you know all the information.

This is not playable solo, as it has a strong hide and seek element (the Empire searching for the Rebel base, and the Rebels using feints and deception to keep it hidden). There is a miniatures game that could be played solo (X-Wing Miniatures Game) but it still is much better when played with at least one other player to oppose you.

If we recruit leaders 4 times in a game, that means we will use not more then 8 action cards ( ...More if we already have same leader in pool ), But ...WHY ARE WE PUTTING ACTION CARD'S WE DON'T CHOSE AT BOTTOM OF THE DRAWING ACTION PILE ? If we are not. going to use them ever again ? Why we are holding action cards deck after 5. round if we are not going to use them again later in the game ? WHY having those action cards in front for no reason , can't it be more easier to just drop them back at the box after 5. round ? ANYBODY ?
