It may be an animation error, but at 0:33, you can see that Thrawn’s eyes are slightly off focus and outwardly crossed. Compare this to the Bendu, whose eyes are focused and aligned. It is symbolic, I think, to Thrawn's blindness to the Force. For all his intellect, it is the one thing he cannot, or will not see, and it will prove his downfall.

I love how she doesn't even bother fighting anyone when the ship passes over. They're so small a challenge that she is gone in five seconds. Ten if you count the time she took for the Anakin/Obi-wan quip, and twenty if you're counting from when the Inquisitor tells Snips that she's the one who's been beaten. She was trained by the best in the galaxy, fought entire companies of droids while holding off saber-wielding opponents, and... Well, let's just say Ahsoka's probably had harder sparring sessions with Sky Guy and The Clones than the Inquisitors and those Storm Troopers could ever give her. Vader would have been very disappointed in her if they had succeeded in capturing her.

To be fair, Captain Rex had no reason to believe Obi Wan survived Order 66. The only Jedi (in a sense) to his knowledge who had done so was Ahsoka.

The reason the empire had so much trouble with the rebellion is because it was a case of a military fighting the last war. The empires doctrine revolved around tactics used during the clone wars but the empire isn’t fighting an army but an insurgency which they are not used to fighting. Thrawn is the exception because he displays a level of intelligence, competency and tailors his entire war strategy in a way that the imperial academies tend to frown upon. The imperial military set itself up to fail in the galactic civil war. Numbers alone don’t confer the advantage.

I gotta say, executing two incompetent officers was ultimately self defeating because of the four people in the room left alive two of them would defect to the rebels, one unsuccessfully and the other successfully
