Always liked using the ion shot on the imperial shuttles on this level. Loved the unique effect and watching them tumble to the ground. Lol

I love how, on both Gerrard V and here, during the opening/closing cinematics, the Bomb counter inside the cockpit of the Y-Wing is red, which I believe usually means Advanced Seeker Bombs. Just imagine how OP that would actually be in-game if it were possible to unlock

Probably thought it was a silly idea. We wouldn't get the equivalent of a red bomb weapon until Rogue Leader with the Spread Proton Bombs

Quick tip I found out- you can shoot the ion cannon at the same time as your blasters to increase your dps

When I was a kid, I always wanted to fly the Y-Wing. And when I finally got the chance, it was pure hell! I couldn't escape anything! The turrets, the clock, and that monstorous TIE Interceptor that's always chasing you down no matter where you are!

It was pretty exciting to fly a Y Wing on this level. I used to have a bronze medal on this for a while until one day when I played a little better I moved up to a silver medal. The same also happened with Raid On Sullust

Especially the ace TIE Interceptor that always manages to dodge you. You shoot it down and another one will take its place.

What camera are you using for this? I'm allways on F1, because the standard cam glitches out. Problem is that I can barely see where my bombs are targeted

How do you do it? I don't have any of the upgrades and i keep getting killed because there is so much fire. How do you get past all those ties with the slowest ship in the game?

Fly low. Interceptors stay above a certain altitude so you can let your squad soak up the damage. Only climb to do bombing runs as you can detonate yourself

I absolutely hated the Interceptors. Especially those that like to chase you!

That's the highest I could go. I used to be stuck on a bronze medal for a while but I managed to move up to a silver medal.

Yup, its very counterproductive to how you'd want to play a game. Unfortunately, I suspect some levels gold level requirements were either based around doing that, or to just use the V-Wing.
