Disable half the train with ion cannon from the start so it moves super slow then go destroy the other enemies

Remember, do not destroy the train. Wedge Antillies is captured inside the train, you have to disable it using the ion cannon and save Wedge.

Why don't they use the Y Wings? It would've made more sense.

@@jakedavis2954 I've gotten gold with a Y-Wing. You just need to slow down the train first and then you can bomb most everything else before coming back to it

You can use Y-Wings in this level when you get all Golds.

Yeah I always thought that was weird too. The one level where ion cannons are important and you use a modified X-Wing.

Is it even necessary or even possible to get a gold medal here? Because in my opinion, shooting all the other enemies makes that train go to the prison very easily.

Shoot a bunch of the train with ion to slow it down at the beginning

I was wondering the same thing.. Maybe because he obtained the advanced blaster upgrade hidden on the cloud city mission??

Just hold the button and you'll hear the ion cannon charge up, same with the Y-Wing

He's linked the blasters so all 4 shoot at once. 4 shots with advanced blasters is enough to knock out a turret. You can do that with any ship. I remember discovering it as a kid. If I recall, you needed to press X on your keyboard.

that mission is so EASY man xD you only have to kill all enemys in under 6 minutes or something and then you quickly ion shock that hover train the only hard thing there is the imperial rocket launchers i hate them !

Tesko250 I hated the AT-STs. Destroying them are up so much time without torpedos. Though I brought it on myself a bit because I attacked from the front.

Which button shoots the ion missles, or whatever it is?

@@shanecallaghan6960 They're ion cannons. Use C-left if you're using the X-Wing on this mission. C-right if you're flying a Y-Wing.
