Yea Crismon Jack was a character back in the old 70s/80s comics he was a big bushy beard, red haired pirate Han had dealings with, appears to have been retcon'ed in the modern comics, so guess that's the version they will follow

Huh. Original trilogy fan here, and have the entire run of the original Marvel run (it was pretty much all we had back then) and Crimson Jack was one of the first original characters introduced in the expanded universe, though it wasn't known as that back then. He didn't last too long, but there was about a year long storyline that he was involved with (he was a smuggler who stole a star destroyer and used it as his ship, and of course Han had double crossed him). I'm shocked that someone used that character, but at the very least it shows far more love of the old lore than the power of many ever did.

I always thought it sounded better when youtubers asked their audience to consider liking and subscribing just for the simple reasoning that people generally prefer to be asked to consider doing something versus being directly asked to do something. Ultimately either way is fine though. Another point is I'm not sure about everyone else but I usually wait until the end or near end of a video to drop a like if I'm going to and I appreciate the reminder at the end of a video too because sometimes I forget to add a like when I intend to.

I had wished they could have spent the episode saying he was a Jedi, to reveal in some other episode that he wasn't. I felt they went through that to fast. It's just, I enjoyed seeing the Jedi as, "something you look up to, you wish to be, they are as George Lucas described the good guys, the moral ones, they are the heros." And man, has that been lacking since Disney took over. And coming off of Acolyte, I seriously needed to linger in these urchins viewing Jude Laws character as the hero. That was a joy. I loved seeing the battle droid from the prequels, it's been a while. And I like the mention of Alderaan, the mention of the Old Republic, the Owl Lady was pretty cool compared to say Jenky. The kids are keeping the x-wings away, it had some adventure finally. Not a bunch of activists stuff. So, overall I had fun. But I totally understand why fans have stopped watching. I get that. It's been show after show of bad stories. We all need a respite.

Thank you for being reasonable, if this is what counts as messaging in the show than it is nothing and I mean nothing. One of the moms didn't even have a line of dialogue. The whole scene lasted 2 minutes. If people freak out over this then I have to put them in the same category as woke left lunatics with blue hair screaming all the time. Modern kids are experiencing situations like these representations of families. It does not bother me at all. It is not an "agenda" beyond just acknowledging that some family groups are not the traditional nuclear family archetype. When I grew up in the 70s, having a single mom was a social travesty... and I never saw such an experience I was having in any type of movie for "kids" until E.T.. And I am sure that the radical right would call that E.T. was to "woke" if such a name was used those days. People need to just get over a kids show being for kids of today. Chill out

All the robots on that planet are useless. Like the school teacher robots voices were so garbled, how could the kids understand them? And why would you have a robot interacting with parents in this situation, instead of a real person? And that owl character was so dumb and bad. This isn't Star Wars, and this isn't good television, there are so many problems with this show that have nothing to do with those 2 parents.
