Don’t give the audience what it wants; give it something it didn’t know it wanted. I hope this show fulfills this time-tested axiom.

@@Infamous1892 Ep VIII is a unique case, because it is such a mixed bag. I didn’t know I wanted to see a pacifist Luke Skywalker take down the First Order not with violence, but a masterful use of the Force, like a true Jedi. But I didn’t want to see Leia fly across the vacuum of space. I didn’t know I wanted Yoda’s last lesson to be a powerful message on failure, yet I didn’t want to see a badly written purple-haired lady usurp Poe Dameron. That film is an enigma, but the good parts barely outweigh the bad, in my opinion.

Here after watching ep 1 - so charming! I like the kid actors a lot and believe them as actual characters, and I can’t wait to go on an adventure with them.

I agree this made me feel the way first episode The Mandalorian made me feel while watching it for the first time. Totally different tones and subjects but I just got that same warm Star Warsy feeling in my heart that I haven't had for a while.

It was pretty good. I love these kids already! The show reminded me on why I fell in love with Star Wars. Looking forward to your in depth chat on the Geek buddies and the Jedi Way.

How brilliant to have a Droid named SM-33 in Star Wars be a pirate. Disney nod to Peter Pans Mr. Smee

Not only is he named Smee, he's got one eye and a peg leg! 😆

I am not a kid of the 80's or 90's and haven't seen Goonies or even ET and I loved the first two episodes. It's going to be such a great show.

Worked for me, looking forward to more episodes. I wonder what the truth is behind At Attin what Na Nawood is all about.
@markkuykendall547523 күн бұрын
In the months leading up to this, I was saying that the "suburbia" part of Atatin looked like the San Fernando valley. Now that we see more of it, it doesn't. It looks like Seattle's "East Side."

I saw the episodes at one of the fan screenings. It was great to see them on big screen. As a big Star Wars fan and child of the 80s, it definitely had me nostalgic for my childhood, which is what I was hoping and as the show centers around the kids, I'm sure young fans will be into it as well. I enjoyed it for the most part, and can't wait to see the rest!

Opening of Ep 1 was great w/the large ship entering the screen just before getting hijacked = ode to how A New Hope opened. I hope kids like this series and want to get to know more about SW. Knowing I'm not the Target Audience, I'll be tuning in strictly for the background Easter Eggs & hints toward the greater Lore. Wonder if this Series will be good enough to incorporate the characters into new stories w/Sequel characters like Rey 🤔

I enjoyed the first 2 very much! I'm an 80s kid, so... lol I'm looking forward for the rest, and I hope it goes strong until the end as Agatha All Along did... (because, to me, The Acolyte derailed at episode 4...)

I'm glad you enjoyed the episodes. I got to say that personally I'm over watching shows that have less then 10 episodes in them. ( The boys is the exception) Also episodes that are 20 or less minutes long is not worth it.

It managed to copy the opening of Star Wars, the speeder bike chase from Return of the Jedi, and every 80s Spielberg suburban family within the first 10 minutes. I liked the Goonies fine when I was a kid and I’m happy for all the kids who enjoy this “homage.” Or is it like poetry? It rhymes? 😊

Here is the thing people need to understand. Not everything is for everybody. That doesn't mean a show or movie is bad. As a middle aged man I have zero desire to watch this. Not one bit. But I hope people who do enjoy it. ✌🏾✌🏾

youtube.com/@Michael.Miles1 I gave it a shot, and when I realised I'd spent 15-20 minutes actively wishing that the main character would just get himself killed already, I dipped. But my housemate had an absolute ball. We're both huge Star Wars fans (our love (heck, knowledge of their existence) of the books are how we became friends when I first left home), so he'll watch and I won't. Pretty easy 🙂

Well there are 2 f most important things in Star Wars: Sith and Jedi(Sith vs Jedi) So is there any f chance for me to see in the next 20 years some SW TV Show with these...They could create TV Show about Revan, Bane, Luke, Vitiale, Nihilus, but NO they keep with totally not relevant/weak/f CUTE characters. WHY????????????????????????

I actually think show might be good, but unfortunatelly it will suffer from: - Almost a dozen of recent bad / terrible STAR WARS shows/movies - For lack of planning - Cancelling STAR WARS projects..... They killed all of joy of being a STAR WARS fan, and it's a shame......

Star Wars for adults born in the 80's is so boring. I just wanna watch a Galaxy far far away, not slice of life 80's nostalgia. Where are the Jedi? Where are the Sith? Where is the grand adventure? We're stuck watching Goonies meets Stranger things in Space. I don’t care about the 80's like that. Star Wars moved past the 80's.
