Oh technically Neel isn’t the same species as Max Rebo. He’s not an Ortolan. He’s his own species, but people notice he also resembles Hooter from Captain Eo. It’s been a debate and people are confused, but that’s what the show runner confirmed. Ha! I’ve learned a huge amount of things from Kyle Katarn. Exactly where I go. I’ve been able to watch a ton of reactions to these this time around, and I love that basically everyone has gasped when Wim gets thrown from the bike, and then sighs “whew.” I did too. Good jump scare. 🤣

Loved the first episode! Grew up on Star Wars, The Goonies, and old pirate movies, so this show is firing on all cylinders for me. Also loving the subtle dystopian vibes and weird isolation of the planet At-Attin. I feel like they are totally cut off from the rest of the galaxy to the point they're unaware that the Old Republic ended a thousand years ago.

I think Wim’s mom is alive but resisted against the culture of At Attin. That’s why Dad works so hard.

His dad is the lead singer from TV on the Radio, not Black Thought.

I know that’s not black thought but i definitely didn’t realize it was Tunde Adebimpe. lol

I love this show. As a kid who was DEFINITELY not one of the cool ones, Neel is my dude, for real. And what I'm finding is that not only are kids digging it, but the adults as well. Disney pairing up with Watts for something besides Spider-Man and getting some HEAVYWEIGHTS for directing - the vibes are just good, man. Can't wait for more.

The holographic circus performance is a recreation of a similar holographic circus performance from the infamous Star Wars Holiday Special. I highly recommend you do a reaction video to that.

Considering the response from a lot of people not loving Star Wars lately, I think you'll find that a lot of people are watching.

80s kids. Not 90s. Goon8es wasn't in the 90s. ET wasn't in the 90s
@ThePWHustle6 күн бұрын
@@oscarhansen6016 I know but the cast itself had a the 90’d cliche feel. Like little giants lol

@@ThePWHustleI could even see similarities in more recent works like His Dark Materials and Percy Jackson. I think the group friend movie dynamic spans most of our lives now. There are easter egg videos I’ve seen already that list out all of them. And most come from the 80s. It’s really interesting how we have the original trilogy that’s 70s inspired, and the prequels came from the 90s…kinda,… “80s inspired” Star Wars was missing.

I saw an interview with Jude Law and he is more than well aware of how judgmental and rabid Star Wars fans are or can be.
